• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    gas mileage

    On my 2011 RTS-SE, I averaged about 30 mpg. I used Trip A for tracking when to get gas--usually 120 - 140 miles. I usually got only 4 - 5 gallons in. Rarely had fuel light come on. One time when it did, I went 20 miles before finding a gas station.

    I've had the BRP CB/Communication system in my 2011 RTS since I bought it. It's being moved to my new 2014 this week. We've been satisfied. We ride with Gold Wingers so we all have CBs. This system also lets us talk to each other through our J&M headsets in our helmets.

    Upshifting causing right turn signal to come on

    Our friend, ViperRed, is visiting us from Tennessee. On the trip, his 2011 RTS-SE5 started turning on the right turn signal every time he presses the upshift button. Has anyone encountered this? Our dealer says they haven't heard of this happening to any of the Spyders they service.
