• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What size is the allen screw on the BajaRon Sway Bar C-Collar?

My apologies for the unqualified response. Next time I will wait until the experts respond so as not to confuse anyone.

Has anyone had issues with electric parking brake not engaging after long rides then working an hour or two later.

I have a 2015 RT-S SE6 and after 8 hrs of riding in the heat, two hydration breaks and an hour lunch break in the 91°F temps, my parking brake would not release after it did when I applied it to go open my garage door. I had a brake failure alarm. Eventually, an hour so later, it released and I...

Fuel Gauge Quit, still shows Empty after filling - any ideas what's happened?

I did not have magic mirrors on the Spyder I bought. After the cluster repair I added them. The instructions tell you that if the gauge fails flip the polarity on the upper most magnet. I had zero issues with my gauges after installing magic mirrors. Both of my analog gauges are accurate.

Fuel Gauge Quit, still shows Empty after filling - any ideas what's happened?

On my 2015 RT-S with 9600 miles, both analog gauges, fuel and temperature would suddenly stop working. The problem was in the Speedometer Gauge cluster. The internal power supply was failing. I sent the gauge cluster to Atlanta Speedometer (~$350 USD) and it works fine now. I had other symptoms...

Anyone got this/figured out the Steering Assembly Play? Is this normal, or is there a fix?

Thanks Peter, while doing my searches for posting thumbnails instead of pictures I found our discussion about that very thing last September. My apologies for making you repeat yourself. The video question is new though. Thank you for your patience.

Anyone got this/figured out the Steering Assembly Play? Is this normal, or is there a fix?

I have one of those too. However, it’s not that good. Something’s going on and I’ll post after I get it apart.

Anyone got this/figured out the Steering Assembly Play? Is this normal, or is there a fix?

With my hand on the highest point on the steering column, I can move the handlebars left and right with zero steering column movement. All the play is at the top and does not transfer to the column. Looking in from the top side thru the plastic I can see the top moving without any movement at...

Anyone got this/figured out the Steering Assembly Play? Is this normal, or is there a fix?

Thanks, here is what I’ve found. It’s higher in the steering assembly. I went and looked at the BRP Catalog and found this. From the diagram I cannot see if bolts are used through the tabs off the steering head, although there is a cushion item# 74, which comes with item#73. All for $110. I am...

Anyone got this/figured out the Steering Assembly Play? Is this normal, or is there a fix?

Yes, I have been checking other Spyders. Mostly years 2023 with 56,000 miles - no play. 2012 with 34k - no play. 2026 5k mikes no play. When I brought it home last fall it had apx. 1/8” at the handle bar end. 4,000 miles later it has doubled in play. That is what is concerning. Now for a...

Anyone got this/figured out the Steering Assembly Play? Is this normal, or is there a fix?

Eventually, I will have to remove everything up top to get to the rubber bushing or clamp assembly that holds this all together to see what is wearing out. I found Shaun Smoakʼs videos but not the steering play video yet. The first two owners had this Spyder for ten years and only rode it 9600...

Anyone got this/figured out the Steering Assembly Play? Is this normal, or is there a fix?

My 2015 Spyder RT-S with 13k miles on it has about 3/8” play at the end of the hand grips. When I had it apart I checked for this slop on the steering shaft. It isn’t there. It is all up top below the ignition switch. I tried searching for this with negative results. Is this normal on this...

No longer regret buying this ride! Now my 2015 RT-S Performance is Excellent!

Do they make front and rear and where did you buy them?

No longer regret buying this ride! Now my 2015 RT-S Performance is Excellent!

I rode home from SE Ohio in some torrential downpours with near zero visibility. The machine never misfired. I did break rear tire traction on 3 separate occasions. I put the updated Kenda tires on it, knowing full well I might keep searching for a suitable car tire.
