• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    The 15 Spyder F3s I bought from GO AZ in Arizona is finally on its way to me. I'm in Ohio so it's gonna be at least 2 weeks before it's here. I can't wait.

    Are there any independent Spyder repair shops in the Wooster, Akron, Canton, Ohio area?

    On a good day my back will allow me to work on a Spyder, lawn tractor, snowblower, etc for an hour or so. I'm trying to avoid the pain from working on it so I can ride more. I really enjoy working on stuff in the garage but the pain is awful.

    My first really, really close call on the Spyder

    We all have to remember that blaming the other guy still gets you killed. Constant scanning, slowing down in sketchy situations, and covering that brake pedal goes a long way to ensuring your own safety. Place yourself in a more visible spot in the lane, don't follow tall/large vehicles too...

    As of now it's 3 weeks. The weather here is turning colder for the next week, so that might help me deal with it. I've waited 6 months each for a Ducati in '99, then a Moto Guzzi in 2011. The Guzzi didn't show up till July. That was tough one to endure.

    If it was a light rain, that is the worst case scenario. Light rain won't wash away oil, fuel, or coolant from the road, therefore making it ultra slippery, especially on a well traveled road.

    I ended up buying the white F3S. I will be the 2nd owner and it had those custom wheels I like. I paid way too much due to the shipping, but it's what I wanted, plus the used local Spyders are getting scooped up pretty quick. Thanks for the input. I can call myself a Spyder owner now.

    Yes, that's the the trike I'm interested in. I talked with the salesman, and he said the PO had it set up for a CB radio. The tires are a year old, so I'm good there; but with shipping to Ohio and the dealer fees/taxes, it may be out of my price range. I do like that color scheme.

    I saw a 2015 F3 with handlebar mirrors and turn signals in place of the stock mirrors. It was on line, not in person, so I can't tell how the turn signal mount looks up close. In pictures, it looks pretty good.

    2015 F3 S - are there specific locations the footpegs adjust to? How far back? What to look for in a new to me purchase?

    No service records and no owner history. It's in pretty good condition and the rear tire doesn't show any signs of hooliganism.
