• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Solo Female Ryder

I also always rode double with my husband until I got my Spyder. At first I felt most safe when he rode his Beemer while I was on my Spyder. I built up my confidence riding alone by taking short trips to familiar areas. As I felt more confident, I wanted to expand out further. The biggest...

    New DPS - need information

I just had a new DPS installed in my Spyder because of steering issues. My Spyder was one of the first ones to come out - PE#731. I would like to know if anyone has had steering problems recur once a new DPS is installed. Also I am wondering if anyone knows what is different in the new DPS...

    Subtle Steering Problems

I want to describe some subtle steering problems I had Memorial Day. Perhaps it will help someone else. Jim and I went for a ride - he on his BMW, me on my Spyder. We came to an entrance ramp to a freeway on our left. I steered onto the ramp and was surprised that the Spyder went straight...

    Windshield Advice Please!

I am 4'10" and have the C.H.A.D. It has worked great. It provides plenty of wind protection. Since it is adjustable, I can set it so I just look over the shield when I ride. I tried some another non adjustable shield first and it never worked as well. I am very happy with what I have now.

    Need help in curves!

It took me a while to feel comfortable in curves and turns too. At first I slowed down a lot. It felt like the bike wanted to tip or toss me off. Then I relaxed my grip and began to lean my body into the turns. After a while I realized the bike was really stable and I just needed to trust...

    Cruise control on an RS

I have the McCruise and I love it. It works great and allows me to rest my hand and arms. My husband added a vacuum canister to it and it works even better with that addition. He installed it himself. Takes a bit of knowhow but the directions were excellent and so was the customer service.

    Continuing my search for comfort

My husband just installed KewlMetal's adjustable risers and they are great! I am finally no longer leaning forward. I was using BRP 1" riser and KewlMetal's 5" bars. They helped a lot, but the adjustable bars are even better and allow me to find the position I am most comfortable in. I also...

    Taking Curves

Welcome to Spyder riding! It took me a while to get comfortable with curves, now I love them! I did put Ken's swaybar on and it has made a wonderful difference. Now the Spyder is much more flat and stable in curves. I also lean into the curve and that makes all the difference, since the bike...

Questions on 2 Mods being considered

I have a CHAD and love the adjustability of it - my husband is a lot taller than I am. It has never budged from position at all.
