• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    2009 SM5 with 6,000 Miles: What should I know?

    I spotted a 2009 SM5 with less than 6,000 miles on it at a dealership in Enumclaw, WA. Are there any things I need to be aware of on that particular model?

    Olympic Penninsula Suggestions?

    A couple of years ago I did a boundary ride of Washington State on my 2008 FJR1300. http://www.skitsap.wednet.edu/Page/5954 (I'm thinking my next one should be on a Spyder!) One place I stayed was in Clallam Bay http://www.clallambay.net/available.html and I really liked it. When I travel by...

    Best Dealer for Purchase and Service in the Puget Sound Area;

    Now that the ST is on the scene and I can take a riding course not too far from me to get endorsed for the Spyder, I think I'll put my ducks in a row and go after one pretty soon. Since I live in Gig Harbor I have some choices as to who I purchase from and who will service the Spyder. I...

    What Would a Trike Endorsement Course Look Like

    Would a trike/Spyder endorsement course have pretty much the same layout as a motorcyclce course? I think I'm getting this figured out on how to get my Spyder. Prior to purchase, take the written exam and get the permit. Get comfortable and spend some extra time setting up some small cones in...

    A Chicken/Egg Question

    I have a motorcycle endorsement through MSF and ride a 2008 FRJ1300; however, in Washington state you have to have a trike license for the Spyder. If I take a trike course through MSF, do I supply the trike? Washington state is really making this a pain in the a$$ to do. But then, that would...

    A Chicken/Egg Question

    Did you get your Spyder, then get your trike endorsement or get your endorsement, then the Spyder? Am I assuming right that I'll need my endorsement to get insured--which affects financing. If I can get this figured out I'm getting one. I'm doing a boundary ride in August and would love to...

    It's Clearer Now: I See a Spyder RT In My Future

    Today I went into Brothers in Bremerton, WA for tires and service on my FJR. A year ago I was intrigued with the Spyders on display but there were so many questions about getting a trike license and Spyders themselves. I'm glad I waited. The trike classes and licensing are much clearer AND now...

    Some Questions and Wisdom Before I Buy a Spyder

    From what I was able to glean from the Washington State Dept. of Licensing, there's a trike MSF coming in the middle of June. It's the only one listed and like I mentioned, it's down the road a bit. There's a lot of riding to be done between now and June. I'd be glad to do it on my LT but...

    Some Questions and Wisdom Before I Buy a Spyder

    I have a 2002 BMW K12LT and am seriously considering trading it in on a 2008 yellow demo Spyder. However, I have questions that I need some help on. Here in Washington state, I'll need to get a trike endorsement--how much of a hassle is this? Did you take a MSC for trikes or get a permit and...
