• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    What GPS are you using?

    I use the Garmin DriveSmart™ 55 with a Garmin backup camera. It's on a Ram mount using one of the handlebar bolts. Works for me and less expensive than the cycle specific models.

    I've had my backseater fall asleep on my RT and my old Gold Wing 1800 which I used to ride. I guess both are too comfortable and too much fresh air.

    You can also buy the square and flat connectors online and make one yourself any length.

    Need a Seat Strut with more lift - any suggestions?

    Do some searching here. If I can find it, there was a message years ago about replacing the strut with a 40# rated one from an auto parts store. I had to do the same on my 2016 RT when I replaced the seat. If I can find the box, I'll try to get a part number.

    After ideas on Locations for GoPro Camera?

    I have the GoPro Session. It is mounted on a bracket behind the windshield. It is pre-configured and activated by pressing the top button to turn on and off. For me, it's an easy solution for video taping my rides. I just need to keep the windshield clean in the center.

    I have a 2016 RT and a Lumina type box shaped trailer vs the 622 or Freedom, could not find either in my bike's color. ;) The cost was better also.     I have this tire on the rear on my RTS and Q-5s on the front. The Kumho has done well, dry and wet. Ran into a day long rain storm coming back from Branson and never a traction issue even at highway speeds. I don't regret this buy so far.

    Pull behind trailer....

    I have an older model I bought off a seller but it's great for us. Used it on two long trips and as others said, didn't even know it was there. Had to keep checking the mirrors to be sure. ;) Only problem was that the navigator found a way to fill it. More space, more unneeded items.

    I get to use the KILL switch more often than I want. My backseater usually hits it when she grabs the handlebars getting on the Spyder. :shocked:

    Got the dreaded Limp Mode on the way home yesterday on a 2016 RT-S. Code was P0340. Rumor has it that the sensor is fairly easy to replace.     Garmin Observation

    I also have the Nuvi 2589LMT. I now use the Garmin DriveSmart 55 with backup camera. The camera is easier on the neck, works pretty good too. It has lines just like the car cameras. If it fails, back to the 2589LMT.

    USA Trailer

    I carry the trailer spare tire under the tongue. I use what looks like a big "U" bolt that goes through the lug holes. I mounted it as far back as I could almost to the box. Once you get it mounted (got to put lug nuts on from underneath), it works well for me. It gets the tire out of the way...

    Uniontown Ohio Spyder Rider

    It's an old canal town now a city. It has some interesting shops. Clay's Park is near by. We even have a running horse drawn canal boat and canal boat rides on weekends.
