• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I need help deciphering torque specifications?!

Newton-meters (Nm) and foot-pounds (ft/lbs) are the metric and imperial measures for torque, which measures the way in which a force turns an object around an axis. One foot-pound (ft/lb) is equal to 1.356 newton-meters (Nm). To convert newton-meters (Nm) to foot-pounds (ft/lbs) all you need to...

Your opinion about the Ryker OEM mirrors

The front looks no different as the mirror inserts cannot be seen from the front. Here's a pic from the rear.

Your opinion about the Ryker OEM mirrors

I like the large OEM Ryker mirrors. I did add the Slingmods convex stick-on, which is a definite improvement. I tried some of the smaller, cooler looking bar mount mirrors and didn't like them one bit. I don't care if my mirrors are 4" in diameter. At least I can see someone slamming into me at...

Near time to replace OEM tires

I think the OP was asking about Ryker tires. I could wrong though. Rogue, the front tires are a proprietary size. We're stuck with the Kenda's. The rear, fortunately, is a different story. The 205/45R16 is way more common. I replaced my rear with a Yokohama Advan Fleva V701.

    Well....it broke.

I would un-install everything back to OEM and see if that solves the issue.

Is Slingmods Ryker forum not working??

If that forum belongs to Slingmods, then maybe an email to them might provide an answer?

Any aftermarket scan tools that work with the Ryker?

Excellent question. We need a cheaper alternative. BTW, how much did the stealership charge to wipe the code?

Do you ever park your Ryker in a parking lot or does it depend on ??

I routinely park in parking with no issues from gawkers or vandals. Of course I scout any unknown areas before stopping. I had one issue with an senior citizen lady in a 60's Caddy. She said I wasn't allowed to park "that thing" in a parking spot and that I needed to move it immediately. I...

A question for those who served in the U.S. Marines.....

It's used by all the services, meaning flexible. And you are correct, there is no more 'former' Marine title. The title Marine stands forever.

How many miles/seasons should stock Tires last? Replacement options?

The rear tire is available from a few manufacturers and usually less than $150. This is a worthwhile upgrade while doing mods to your Ryker.
