• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I feel like being taken for a ride (not a good ride) trying to decipher true cost..

What the heck is the COMMODITY SURCHARGE and what are typical TRANSPORTATION AND PREPARATION FEES? All are added on to the MSRP (plus other charges i.e. taxes, doc fees, etc.) Let's say I want to buy the $23,899 Spyder shown here (grabbed from Can-Am;s website) how much (approximately) am I...

    Parking Brake Will not Engage -- 2012 Can-Am Spyder RT-S SM5

My parking brake will not engage. I hear no sound of the actuator turning, etc. I see posts that suggest pulling the main fuse which is easy to find (but that suggestions seems to be directed towards situations where the brake is engage and will not release. But which fuse is specific to the...

    Do these charges seem reasonable?

I can tell the difference with the change of plugs (cost per plug was under $4 and the mechanic already had the tupperware removed and was checking the valves). Mileage for my Spyder was a little over 26k. The engine sounds smoother and quieter to me. The real reason for my visit originally...

    Do these charges seem reasonable?

Ended up just being an inspection. No valve adjustment was needed.

    Do these charges seem reasonable?

You are correct - no adjustment necessary. The owner's manual calls for inspection and adjustment (if necessary) but no adjustment was necessary. This is the 2nd inspection I have had that did not require any adjustments. Since a lot of the skin is removed to replace the battery, I asked for...

    Do these charges seem reasonable?

I think so (Spyders are not cheap to have serviced) but was wondering about others opinions. 2012 Can-Am Spyder RT-S SM5. Leaky gasket that needed replaced so had additional work done in the meantime (battery replacement, valve adjustment, etc.)

Guess someone named Kevin Bliss needed to make a point? Yes, you can flip a Spyder

Yes, you can flip a Spyder! This is the caption from the original post on FACEBOOK. "Whoever said you can’t flip a Spyder lied. I know my intelligence will be insulted by posting this video. I knew this simple act of ignorance and indulgence would come at a cost. Before this attempt, I had...

So who here has had an accident that was their fault? And what was the dollar amount of the claim. Not stolen motorcycle; not damaging your own trike or motorcycle; etc. but where you caused physical damage to property or person. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
