• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Just sent another email to Rever. Their response is promising... "Our integration in BRP is slightly outdated and we are waiting on approval from BRP with our updates." Here's hoping BRP gets off their butts and approves it.

    No worries. I should have expanded... it's been probably 6+ months since Rever broke. It's on their end, not BPRc. And I (and countless others) have emailed Rever, but they don't seem to be in any hurry. As an aside... as a previous software developer that's been in high-tech for 40+ years...

    Sorry, but no. The only apps you can get on the dash are those that run inside of BRPc. Sad state of affairs. Those that do Google maps put a phone bracket on their handlebar and go that route.

    Correct. No Apple CarPlay. BRP and associated apps is what you’ll use… unless you use things like Apple Maps or Google Maps, but they won’t appear on your dashboard.

    CarPlay (etc) require a screen of a minimum size. The screens on Can-Ams are not big enough to support it.
