• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Heated Grips - Warm Enough?

    I installed OEM heated grips on my 2019 F3T and, compared to the factory grips on my 2014 Goldwing and BMWs I've owned, they are puny. They warm but don't heat. Although better than nothing, I was a bit disappointed.

    How does the F3T throttle spring go back in??

    I had this problem when installing heated grips on my F3-T. The rheostat in the right grip assembly has a spring that provides adequate throttle return. I left the bar end spring out and noted much less fatigue in my right hand and wrist. Several thousand miles and no problems.

    You might look for a NOS or slightly used 2019 F3-T. Black-on-black was offered that year ... I have one!

    Dental floss. Pull it back and forth through the adhesive and it will cut through it. Goo-Gone will remove the residual adhesive from the mirror.

    Looks like the extensions would work but I'm concerned about having another screw-on connection per each wheel that might fail. I suspect the reason BRP uses such short stems is the fact that they're more protected from damage. I'm thinking I'll wait until my first tire change and go with a TPMS...

    Question for former or current Goldwing owners who have a Spyder

    I just went from a 2014 GL1800 to a 2019 Spyder F3-T. I did upgrade the Spyder windscreen to 15" from the stock 12". I like to look over the screen and probably could have gone to a 17". I'm 5'9" and have no buffeting at all and rain diversion at highway speed is very good. I had no air wings on...

    TPMS installation

    Maybe true for the FOBO 2s, but the set I used on my GL1800 will not work on my 2019 F3-T front wheels. The stems do not protrude from the wheel far enough.
