• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    DID I...

Apparently NOT. 300 plus miles @ 70+mph on State & US Highways on the Michelin Defender. The only difference in the speedometer is more accurate. Before you ask, we even got a bit of rain. Not to seem too cocky but it works better in the rain than the OEM Tires. ABNormy, got yours...

    DID I...

Thanks Everyone Thanks for all the replies & info.. Speed shouldn't be too big a factor in my case. The older I get the slower I get. But, the speed limit here is soon to be 80. Leaving Tuesday for the BMW Rally in Tennessee so I should get a feel for it before I get back.

    DID I...

Thanks for the quick reply. I've wasted far too much money over the years buying dumb stoopid stuff. I wanted the Michelin Aqua Edge but it's no longer available. I'd post the picture but when it comes to puters I'm lucky just reading the forum & sending/receiving email.

    SUSPENSION QUESTIION

Thanks for all the replies... I'm thinking of just replacing the front shocks for now. I should know know if I need to replace the rear when I get back from the Durango event. Might "play" with tire pressure also. I'm running 15psi in the front and 28psi in the rear.

    SUSPENSION QUESTIION

With only 2,000+ miles on my two week old RTS I haven't added any accessories. I'm more into function than farkles. Will new shocks make that much difference in the ride? Especially riding two up. I've noticed several people have installed Elka Shocks and seem to like them.

    NEWBIE

Howdy Folks from another new guy in Texas. We got a 2012 RT-S a couple weeks ago. No accessories yet except for a Garmin Zumo 665. Took it to the Georgia Mountain Rally (BMW) the first weekend of April. Gonna take it to them BMWRA Rally then stop off for the Durango Event the next weekend...
