• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New Ryker rider ? on extended warranty on '20 Rally 900 - Go or No-Go?

Buying from a friend you should know how he/she treats their equipment hopefully well. No problems so far so I would not worry about the RYKER. I would pass on the warranty, put the money in a cookie jar. I’d be very surprised if you ever spend any of it for as long as you own it on repairs...

Was your stock Ryker stable over 50mph? If not, what did you do?

Yes my 2019 RYKER 900 was and remains very stable at any speed, I have had three different SPYDERS, starting with 2008 Rs very twitchy, a 2015 Sport that hated side winds, and a 2017 RT that was effected by the side winds also. I tried a test ride on the RYKER and took it home happy, still happy...

    Where is everybody?

Tomorrow the SPYDER/RYKERS Riders of Lane County Oregon will be doing a 200+ mile ride in lieu of “watching the game”. Route from Eugene to Florence (on the coast) to Waldport (on the coast) to Corvallis back to Eugene. Lots of twisty roads with nice scenery. Pictures to follow.

Lousy dealer service on the latest recall

The dealer in Eugene is Valley PowerSports on Hwy 99N, south of Beltline. Having purchased two SPYDERS , a SXS Maverick, and a RYKER 900. Always see good attention to detail on their machine preparation and service. All good reasons to keep going back!

Lousy dealer service on the latest recall

Must be a dealer issue, I live on the Oregon coast & called my dealer in Eugene yesterday, they said bring it in anytime. Rode in today and it was done in about 30 minutes. New nuts retainer clips and torgued to specs. Technician took it for a test ride to see if there were any issues that I “...

    Today was a sad day

I use a heated vest, insulated pants & boots, and ride in the 20s as long as there is no snow or ice. On coast rain is the biggest problem, slow down for standing water over an inch or so in depth to avoid hydroplaning.

    Ryker 900

I have had three different SPYDERs since 2008, kept trading up until the last a 2017 RTS. Traded that in for a 2020 Maverick 1000R Sport SXS last fall. Decided to try a 2020 Ryker 900 ACE and I love it. The Ryker seems to corner better for me, much flatter in the corners! Great acceleration...

Why Did YOU Choose Ryker Over Spyder?

I started with a 2008GS, riding position for me was painful crouched put too much weight on my hands, so traded up to a 2015 STS, better riding position. After 10k miles decided I really wanted an RT. so next step up to a 2017 RTS. More miles and smiles touring. Then decided to get off the roads...
