• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Wheelchair rack for F3-S

F3-S Wheelchair rack I purchased a RackitOn wheelchair mount for my 2009 SE5 about 10 years ago but I don't think they are available anymore. I purchased the Lamonster Packrack and taillight/indicator kit to build my current wheelchair rack. The Packrack is beautifully made and arrived in less...

miles this year for smashed up ppl

I logged about 5000km this year. Most of that was recreational riding. I'm hoping to use my Spyder as more of an everyday commuter next year. I had to work out some bugs with my wheelchair and rack but I think I have a good system worked out now.

    Wheelchair Parking

I transfer onto my seat and role up my seat cushion first, securing it to my passenger backrest with bungy cord. I then make sure I'm completely on the seat and use my left arm to hold the left handle bar for support. I use my right arm to grab the chair and heave it to the rear where the foot...

    Wheelchair Parking

Hello All, I recently discovered there is a plate sticker for motorcycles issued in Ontario, Canada for handicapped parking. All you need to do is follow the instructions on the Ministry website: http://www.mto.gov.on.ca/english/dandv/vehicle/app_motorcycle.shtml Happy Spydering!:2thumbs:

    My Unique Mods

I fill the tank as I normally would. I fill it to the last full bar on the gas gauge making sure that I do not overfill. I have about 3000km with this mod and the ABS is working fine.

    My Unique Mods

The best I can do is post more detailed pics as it was my mechanic friend who did the mods. I can tell you the piping sits on top of the filler neck. This mod took a bit of work to get right and may need some fine tuning to get right.

    wheelchair mount 1.0

My biggest issue other than wanting a functional wheelchair mount is for the mount to look good. This is an almost impossible task, but something I will work hard to achieve. My current wheelchair is modular in design and I believe will look good once it is mounted. The silver frame is no...

    Handicapped Spyder Ryders.....Roll call!

Roho, Here is a pic of the routing. This is not a mod I would recommend doing without an experienced mechanic. The routing used the existing opening and with about 1000k on my machine seems to be working very well.

    Handicapped Spyder Ryders.....Roll call!

Roho Check out the pics in the the thread "My Unique Mods" in the My Spyder Mods forum. The filler cap is located in a way that you do not have to get off the bike to fuel up. My mechanical abilities are limited, so I had a friend do the fabrication.

    Handicapped Spyder Ryders.....Roll call!

I'm in frigid Northern Ontario.....Sudbury to be exact. We're not having the best start to the summer here, but I have hope for sunny days ahead.

    Handicapped Spyder Ryders.....Roll call!

Ok, I hate to use the term handicapped but my intent is to have anybody with a mobility impairment read this thread. This bike has been an absolute dream come true for me, and many of the mods I used to make my bike "accessible" came from this site. My hope is that this thread will be an easy...
