• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    That’s not bad at all. My dealer quoted $9500 OTD + tax for a new 600. Would have been well over $10k total if I bought new. I didn’t buy new... and still very happy with the bike and savings.

    2019 Ryker 900 oil leak

    Do you know if Can-Am changed the oil level specs for the 600 also? Filled mine at 2.75 quarts per the 2019 specs and the level was just below the min mark. Took nearly 3.5 quarts to get it up to max. Tried my best to check it each time at operating temp within a few seconds of shutdown.

    Actually changed my ‘19 Ryker 600 oil today. Wanted to get familiar with how to lift the bike... so used a jack and stands. Wasn’t hard at all. May return the unused plastic ramps and just go that route if it ever needs lifted.

    It seems like everyone uses different areas to jack up their Ryker. Where is the best safest area to jack up the front end to put two jack stands under it... and the best area to either leave the jack or put one jack stand under the rear? Thanks!

    Someone before me ripped all of the tabs off my Ryker hood by yanking up hard from the front. Ended up buying a new black stock hood from cheapcycleparts.com for $33 shipped and arrived in a week. Used a hair dryer to loosen the BRP emblem and mounted it in the new hood.     Plastic trim under seat - how does it mount??

    Thanks much! That video did the trick. I think it had a Max Mount installed... and the glove box paperwork suggests the bike was repo’ed from the previous owner... so good chance they kept it and never bothered to remount the trim. Luckily for me though they stored it with the bike.
