There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

16K+ is not the norm for the stock Slingshot rear tire. I have 32K miles on my Slingshot and will be putting the 4th rear tire on within the next 1K miles. Haven't tried either one of those....yet. We usually go down to Hillbilly's in Jesup or to Uncle Shugs in Brooklet when we want bbq. Nice ride on the Spyder to either one. Also, we did find a pretty good German restaurant in Hinesville (Zum Rosenhof). You should give them a try if you like...- JMOATL

Good Choice Have just shy of 3K miles on the General Altimax we had installed in June. I can't tell a difference in the ride/handling from the stock tire. Very happy with it so far.- JMOATL

Took a demo ride today
Totally Different We have a Spyder RT and a Slingshot. I prefer the Spyder and the wife prefers the Slingshot. Other than having 3 points of contact with the asphalt, they are totally different animals. We usually take the Slingshot for the longer trips and the Spyder on the shorter ones...- JMOATL

Alternative to I-95?
ATL TO SAV Double Trouble: We live down in Fayette County so we usually go US41 - US341 - US280. Every now and then we jump over to McDonough and go US23 to Macon and then US80. The 41,341,280 route seems to have better views and is a little more rural. The wife prefers US80 so we can stop... -

A1A Thanks for the suggestions! I hadn't thought about going down 301. How is A1A the further South you go? Is it like it is around Amelia Island down to Ponte Vedra Beach? I've driven that part before with the numerous stoplights and traffic that takes forever to get anywhere. -

Did That Route Saturday Went from Savannah down to Amelia Island Saturday on Hwy 17 and then back to Savannah. That was a good ride with lots of nice views around Darien and Brunswick. I'm happy with doing that again to get down to around Jacksonville but beyond Jax I don't have a clue on... -
Alternative to I-95?
Heading to Key West from Atlanta via Savannah on the Spyder in April. Any suggestions from down that way on a scenic route? Really don't want to spend hour after hour on I-95 but not familiar with the secondary roads down that way. Got about 3 days to get to Key West from Savannah.
