• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

F4 Customs Tall and Wide RT windshield question

Love mine- tall and wide I have an F4 tall and wide windshield on my 2013 RT Limited. I took off the tall vented screen that came on it. I am 6'9" tall and the F4 is definitely the way to go for tall folks. The screen goes high enough that I have to look through it unless I stretch my neck to...

    F3T vs RT Limited - 2-up riding

All you guys from Oz are tall, never met one less than 6'5". I just sold my Victory Cross Country Tour and I am mighty familiar with the comfort a tall guy can get on a Vic. The Feet forward feeling goes along with the F3, the long floorboards- more like the RT. I use a brake pedal extension...

Sneak peak at the production R.I.P boards

They look great, really made to highest standards. Will it work with the position #5 brake pedal? What I want is a big fat brake pedal in position 5, full forward, and a place to step when mounting so that it's easy to swing a leg over the backrest. Good luck on your enterprise.

How many of you own more than one spyder

Own 2, my 3rd and 4th First I had a 2009 RS SE6 Then a 2011 RT-S Now a 2014 RT-L for me and my darling Now a 2015 F3-S for local fun by myself. I find many clear distinctions between the RT and F3 and they make a great pair without much overlap in what they do best. I have a small bunch of...

Just ordered Elka stage 2 rear shock

Thanks for a great post- I think I will call Len and discuss what will work best for me. at 320lb. 6'9" I crush the rear suspension like a bug. My RT is fine with the air shock and pump but the F3-S is looking like an Elka candidate for sure. One question is regarding the extended hydraulic line...

    F3T vs RT Limited - 2-up riding

I own an F3-S and an RT-L. I am 6'9" and around 320lb. and can easily rest my feet on the fenders while riding. Highway pegs just don't do it for me because they are too close. I don't really ride with my feet on the fenders except for a few yards at slow speeds. It feels mighty funky with your...

Cruising on two wheels and now three, adjustment period?

I could say it took me 7 years to adjust to 3 wheels. I bought an RS in 2009 and now I am trading my Victory two wheeler in on an F3-S ending ownership in any two wheelers. I just got to the point where I feel more in control and safer on the Spyder . Advancing age is part of it as birthday #70...

    Mass. Insurance

Looks good. I just ran a quote through their web page and it came out at about half what I paid Safety Insurance Co. I'll hav to check my current policy for details and run it once again and it looks like it will be worthwhile to do so. Thanks for the heads up.

Brake line routing for ISCI hand brake

Done!- well except the road test. OK so I got the ISCI handbrake kit installed on my 2014 RT Ltd with Triaxial bars. The instructions that come with the kit are for a 2010 model so a lot of the photos don't match up very well- but they do give the idea. Some notes: The little tiny allen...

New F4 Windshield and Baker Wings Coming my way

I'm 6'8" and have the F4 wide tall windshield with vent. It's as good as it gets. When lowered I get a breeze and look over it easily, when raised I can hide behind it or peek over the top. That's just about ideal.

Brake line routing for ISCI hand brake

It's the transition up through the body work I am trying to figure out. I got the plastic cover off the bars and the new one modified for the Triaxial bars, that's not the problem. It's where to bring the brake line up to the base of the bars.

Brake line routing for ISCI hand brake

I am installing the ISCI hand brake kit on my 2014 RT Ltd with triaxial accessory handlebars. I am curious to find the best way to route the brake line as it comes up by the bars. If you have done this I would love to hear about your solution. I'm considering drill a hole un the plastic plate...

    First ever e-x-t-e-n-d-e-d ryde!!

Mostly non bike stuff- I try to be on the road far from home at least 3 months a year, mostly in my camper but I have done most of the country on my RT as well. Wherever you stop, every single teeny tiny town seems to have a Chinese restaurant and they all have good Lo Mein. I just ask for...

    V twin vs 1330

I have owned a 2009 RS V twin, a 2011 RT V twin, and now a 2014 RT LTD 1330 triple. I liked the turbine smoothness of the v twin at high revs and could ride it all day at 5000-6000RPM, but I had to learn to like it as by nature I prefer a more relaxed low rev ride. I swear the twins handle...

Roho Air Hawk Cruiser Motorcycle Seat Cushion

I use an Airhawk R and as others have said you will be surprised how little air is in it when you get it right. Part of the reason I use one is to gain height. At 6'9" i want my seat higher and floorboards lower for best legroom. No custom seat maker offers a higher seat and I am surpised that...
