• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Latest BRP Safety Bulletins for Shaft Replacement (2019-12) and Shaft & Sprocket Replacement (2019-13) Recalls - Jan 2025

Despite what the dealer told you, I don't see anywhere in the recall notice that we are directed to stop riding or that if I do continue to ride and it breaks (below the mileage limit) they will not repair it.

Latest BRP Safety Bulletins for Shaft Replacement (2019-12) and Shaft & Sprocket Replacement (2019-13) Recalls - Jan 2025

That's amazing service. My local dealership's service manager doesn't have a plan for handling this recall.

That's more like it! How would Can Am know if you stopped by on the Spyder so they could say they saw it, and then ordered parts. Dealerships don't like to store more bikes than they have room for.

Latest BRP Safety Bulletins for Shaft Replacement (2019-12) and Shaft & Sprocket Replacement (2019-13) Recalls - Jan 2025

I agree that I don't want my RT to be the first one they perform this recall on. I just think it's absurd that we are required to hand over our Spyder to the shop before they are allowed to order the parts for this recall. Sounds like it may sit there for days (or weeks) when we could be...

Recall - 2017-2019 RT and F3 Engine Output Shaft Can Break!

I bought a low mileage 2018 Spyder RT a few months ago.. I'm not sure I want my good running machine torn apart with less than 3,000 miles on it. Complex modern machines are seldom as perfect after such major work. There's always something that leaks or doesn't work properly And I don't want...

Recall - 2017-2019 RT and F3 Engine Output Shaft Can Break!

I am in the group 2018 RT with low mileage. I find the wording of the recall confusing. Are they saying if it's below the threshold mileage they will repair it if it breaks? Or are they saying if it's below the threshold mileage you must bring it in for the recall tear down and shaft...

5 MOTORCYCLES THAT ARE NOTORIOUSLY EXPENSIVE TO MAINTAIN

I think a lot of us older riders remember (perhaps too fondly) the good old days. Back then our bikes did break down but a spare set of points, some plugs, some wire, duct tape, and rudimentary tools would often get us back on the road and safely home. I never had an old bike go into limp mode...

I have managed to stay out probation oversight by the Stanislaus County Justice System... and I intend to keep it that way.

Hey Ya'll We Got A New Member! Lets welcome Jeffrider to SL

New to the group and to owning a Spyder RT Limited Thanks for letting me join the group. I hope to learn something and in time be able to contribute as well. Two months ago I purchased a very low mileage (1701miles) pre-owned 2018 Spyder RT Limited from a local Can Am dealership. It runs...
