• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How do I release Fobo tpms?

Does anyone know how to release the sensors from a distance? I sold the bike and didn't release them before the bike was transported to another state. FOBO says that you have to touch the phone they are registered to on the sensor to release them. That's not possible for me now. Any...

Power Steering Noise - 2014 RT

I go in Friday for an "evaluation" before they order any parts. If it is the DPS, I will ask for the old one but my guess is that under warranty they will send it back.

Power Steering Noise - 2014 RT

Thanks so much for the insight and advice. I will get it there asap. Can I ask why it's taking them so long to replace yours? Waiting for the part?

Power Steering Noise - 2014 RT

I have recently noticed a noise emitting from the Spyder. It sounds like a belt squeal (slip) and it occurs when I begin turning the handlebars while at a stop. If I begin to put pressure left or right on the bars, it begins squealing. It does not occur while I'm moving and turning, and it...

    2 Brothers exhaust extremely loud

Not sure what model you have, but they make a couple of "db killer" add-on tubes that are very easy to install and quiet the growl to different levels - https://www.twobros.com/collections/accessories/products/power-tips-db-killers

    Exhaust for a 2014 RT

I have the Two Brothers on my 14 RTL as well. It's a little louder, but I wouldn't consider it obnoxious. Two Brothers also makes two different Powertip "DB killer" add-ons that are very easy to install and quiet the growl at different levels.

    Thanks BRP

That is impressive! Thanks so much for sharing. Sounds like it was a great experience for all involved, even for those of us who didn't participate who will no doubt benefit in the long term from the relationships you built with the BRP folks. And even better news for your chosen charity.

    BE AWARE -175 front tires

Les - Thanks much for the follow up. I will need to watch mine even though I keep them at 22. I might just add the washers anyway for extra protection.

    BE AWARE -175 front tires

Very helpful info. Thanks. I just put the exact same tires on my RTL. Outstanding handling and no rubbing yet, but it doesn't sound like I ride as hard as you do. I have two questions - The first is that I run mine with 22 in them. Will that solve this issue should I ride harder or is 22...

Red Rock Spyder Rally of Southern Utah Wrap-up

:agree: I am not from Utah as Pegasus is, but I wholeheartedly agree about new and different things to see and do in Utah. I didn't realize there was as much as he mentioned, but I do know that I only got to a fraction of the sites and sounds and eats that there must be in beautiful southern...

    Muffler

I put a Two Brothers after market on my 2014 RTL. It's a little expensive, but produces good, deep growl. Some might find it a little too loud, but you can get two different baffle extensions that quiet it a little at different decibel levels.

Hello All New to Spyder Touring and Board

Welcome to the group. I agree with what others have said re the lights, sway bar, and laser. However, I got some good advice when I first purchased and that was to ride a while before you decide what you need/want to make your riding environment more enjoyable. There were several things that...

I definitely second that comment. I have done much of my own work mostly because of the wisdom and insight of many of you actively contributing to this site. Thank you all!
