• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can You Tour on a Ryker?

So we recently got a 2020 RTL and have been riding two up. But now she wants to ride by herself :) She wants a 900 Ryker, but she also wants something that she can do tours on. Is the Ryker tour-able? If so, what add-ons do you recommend to make it tour worthy? Side note, if we do go to...

    Riding Gear Poll

If you're going to ATGATT while riding around town on your Spyder, while not wear full racing leathers with airbags like MotoGP racers wear? That has to be the most protection you can get. Anything shy of that and you are compromising. Something to consider when looking down your nose at...

    Riding Gear Poll

That list is completely silly for going 12mph in a parking lot. Even more so on 3 wheels. Guessing its more about protecting the company than the riders. Back on the original point, lightweight mesh jackets make sense if you are on two wheels and a lot of your wreck potential includes a tip...

Do you have some of that to share? I definitely prefer science to opinion, for sure.

    Riding Gear Poll

I think we're just down to anecdotes at this point. I haven't seen a report out there that shows damage without or without a mesh jacket.

    Riding Gear Poll

Ok, thanks. I've found a few. Looks mostly like rear end and t-bones at intersections. I'm sure a helmet would help with that, but not sure a lightweight, mesh jacket would help much in those situations.

    Riding Gear Poll

I wondered about animal strikes. I've hit quite a few over the years. Mainly buzzards and turkeys. The deer usually miss by an inch or two. I wondered with all of that inertia and 3 wheels, what would happen. My gut feeling is the rider stays on the bike. Something like this:

    Riding Gear Poll

I'm glad to find this thread. As a 2 wheel rider for the last 7 years, I was pretty much in the 'all the gear, all the time' camp. I quit wearing kevlar pants & just wore regular jeans, but I had everything else on. I've crashed on 2 wheel motorcycles a number of times, on dirt and on the...

Considering a Spyder - Can I Ask You Some Questions?

This is true. I'm not going to lie, I'm looking forward to passing some slow two wheelers in some twisties somewhere on my RT 😁

Any ideas on this Loud grinding/growling noise in 5th gear? Any fixes?

Did you figure this out? Mine is doing the same thing.

Considering a Spyder - Can I Ask You Some Questions?

Yeah, that's not gonna happen. My riding buddies are track racers. I'll take 2 wheels with them. This thing can't run with a sport bike. He's just in the way out there.
