• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Lamonster RT Spyder Cuff with Power Plate and X-Grip combo

Looks great, but... Looks really nice, but at $142 Canadian is a bit rich for my blood. (That is a combination of the price of the product plus the outrageous shipping cost to Canada). I know that the exchange rate is out our control, and normally do not worry about that, but the shipping...

Death of Common Sense The Death of Common Sense By Lori BorgmanThree yards of black fabric enshroud my computer terminal. I am mourning the passing of an old friend by the name of Common Sense. His obituary reads as follows: Common Sense, aka C.S., lived a long life, but died from heart...

To Steve (BRPcare) about DESS issues

DESS issue That is unlikely. It is more likely that one plug is power to the module and the other is connected to the CANbus network. Given the amount of computerisation of these machines, I would be surprised if it was a simple as a relay. More likely it sends a message to the starter...

    CANNON BALL RIDE

:agree: That whole "iron butt" thing strikes me more as being masochistic, and not particularly enjoyable. To each their own, but that is not what I bought my :spyder2: for. Gotta love the ride!

    CANNON BALL RIDE

Cannonball Ride Hey there! Will be great if we get a few Spyders in the run. I have ridden about that distance when I went from home (Warburg) to Prince Albert. About 700 km. So this will be slightly longer, but more of an adventure. As I said, I am planning to start from Black Jacks in...

    CANNON BALL RIDE

Alberta Cannonball Ride I found out about this through the SpyAlta site just over a month ago. I have registered for the 500 mile (~800 km) on June the 12th and will be departing from Black Jacks Roadhouse in Nisku. Looking forward to it. Should be a great ride with MCs of all types present...

A battery tender is your friend :agree: Any time I know I am not going to use my Spyder for more than a few days, I always plug in a battery tender to maintain optimum conditioning of the battery.
