• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

*%^&*% computer bat died - re-typing, shortening. SC - You lost me. Don't know what HF sells. Maybe check my post again. I did. And after re-reading I see I was not completely clear on the context of the reference to aircraft industry. The intended context is, the aircraft industry...

    What tools are needed?

Yes - Torque wrench (s) Absolutely agree. I even use a torque wench for the automotive lug nuts. Yes I am aware some consider this past borderline OCD. If the manual lists a torque spec - use it I don't what the prices are these days - I bought mine thirty years ago. Pay what you have to...

    What tools are needed?

Tools for electrical Use crimp connectors if you can. They are superior to soldered. Before all the solder thugs jump in, this is not from me, this is from the airplane industry. A good crimped connection (right tool, right lug) is a gas tight connection. Get a ratcheting crimper ($60 mail...

    New ride....

Excellent choice on the model, year, color. Looks like you have the 16" wind screen, same one we had. We ended up changing to a 22". Much better. Other than that, really nice ride.

    Very interesting trailer

Tilt beds are nice. I'm impressed with the way this one folds up the light bar when the bed tilts down. That's intriging. Not clear on why the hydraulics are needed. The pivots could be set such that the bed tilts down when unlatched and then over balances and tips up when the spyder is...
