• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Upper Gear Hesitation

    My RTS also sputters when I'm in 5th gear and taching between 5k and 5.5k. I thought it might have been bad gas..but it did it consistently for my 2,800 mile trip. I would think it's the mapping and I hope BRP gets it fixed. Gets rather discouraging.

    No problem.. Not sure where you saw I had an 09 Spyder.. it should have shown that I had an 08 RS... traded that in back in December and bought a 2010 RTS. Anyway, I got the soft bags from my dealer for $50. plus tax.. They've got the CanAm logo and fit nicely. I've attached a quick pic of them...

    BRP now has a least expensive side bag option for the RTS. I just picked up a set for $50. They are made out of canvas, expandable and fit nicely.

    Windshield modification..

    I just had my windshield cut 3" lower at the local Harley shop. It took half an hour and cost $30. They did an excellent job and now it's just perfect when it's all of the way down.. Much better than the "bi-focal" image I had before.

    realistic Touring Range of the RT

    Gas Mileage @ 31 My wife and I went for a ride with others yesterday on my RT S Orbital blue. It was a lot of 45 - 60 mph riding in the back. My gas light came on at 140 miles and I averaged 31 miles per gallon. Not as good as my RS, but much more comfortable. I only have 250 miles on it so...

    RT Deposit!!!- 64-RT-S & 23- Trailers

    Another one bit the dust... I just ordered my RT-S in Orbital Blue. Trading in my 08 Spyder. Hated to as I had it set up the way I liked it... but wife wanted a better ride.. can't see keeping 2 around when I can only ride one at a time.
