• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Blank spot in 2021 S2S switch panel - what switch fits?

Agree with Frogman. Used a Carling L series to operate a homemade garage door opener. They have switches for about any configuration you could need.

Review: Monster Fuel Stage 2 Flash - inc video

I've posted several times on others threads, but I'll say it again, the Monster Fuel tune is absolutely, hands down, the best money you can spend on your Spyder. You will never wish it was back to stock.

How long did it take to get your Ultimate Seat?

Stalky Tracker, I don't know where you live, but I know exactly where the picture for your avatar was taken. Big things, small town!

Any info/advice on successfully Tinting Lexan or Polycarbonate?

Couldn't agree more Peter. Best money I've spent on my '20 RTL is a tune from Wick-it Performance. Unbelievable how much better it performs. Seems to run so much easier and smoother. The stage 2 tune is the way to go. You'll wonder why it couldn't run like this from the factory.

How Much Do You Use Wide Open Throttle?

I had Wick-it Performance tune the ECM and raise the rev limiter to 8900 ram. I've not been there, YET, but I've been close. At 8500 or 8600 in 4th or 5th gear things are beginning to happen real quick. Maybe someday, I'll try it in 6th. The ECM tune (stage2) is absolutely the best thing you can...

More 2024 RT Limited Issues - Heated Passenger Handgrips not working!

Shawn Smoak said in his vlog today, 03-06-24, that Apple Car Play will be available the middle of this month.

Feedback requested - Monster Fuel Injection (Wick-It Performance) Stage II ECU Flash

I also talked to the gentleman at Wick-it Performance before having my ECM flashed. The clutch engagement point was not brought up, nor the need for increased oil change intervals. I couldn't decide between stage 1 or 2, but after our conversation, he convinced me to go with stage 2. I couldn't...

Anyone know the length of a '21 RT-L OEM Seat Strut?

17 to 19 inches would be for the pre '20 Spyders. The 7.5" measurement sounds about right. I have my old one, but I'm not able to measure it at this time. There is a thread on this site concerning replacement struts from McMaster-Carr. Much, much cheaper than BRP, and they last. Try searching "...

A small Safety Mod to our 2022 RTL with a big improvement!

Requested both the t.s. and shift pad from Dave. I received them in a couple days and installed them. What a difference! Especially the turn signal button. You can be assured the signals are canceled. Because I have relatively large hands and long fingers, reaching the shift paddle wasn't a...

Need a replacement Fog Light switch - anyone else? What did you get?

Don't know about the older Spyders, but the switches on the newer ones (I have a '20) are made by Carling.

    Front Sprocket Correction at Dealership

According to Shawn Smoak, in his YouTube posts, if the dealer is using the proper and required Loctite number there is no need for it to set up. The unit should be rideable immediately.

Gas strut for trunk on the RT

Sure wish someone had a replacement gas strut for the '20 RTL trunk. Replaced the seat strut with a stronger one from McMaster-Carr, but have been unable to find a replacement for the trunk. Mine is still covered under the extended warranty, but I still have to pay a $50 deductible. And it will...

To Install shed insulation or not? Storing 2022 RTL

If you're going to insulate the wall and ceiling, leave the vents open to allow ventilation of the space between the ceiling and the roof. Especially important here in the Midwest and the temp and humidity extremes we have. If it were mine, and I was storing my spyder, I'd insulate it. Probably...

    Spyder RTL gas mileage history

Don't know what I'm doing wrong. My 2020 RTL always gets 32 to 33 mpg. Much of my riding is on two lane roads at 60 to 65 mph. Interstate driving at 70 to 75 drops the mileage 1 or 2 mpg. It has a stage 2 tune but that made no difference in mileage, but a world of difference in the way it...

Have you had an ECU Flash? How long did it take? Any good?

Had stage 2 done by Wick-it and all I can say is-----what a difference. Normal riding and throttle openings don't seem much different than stock. But get serious and it comes alive and normal cruising the engine just seems to be to be running so free and easy. The gentleman at Wick-it describes...
