• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What has been your experience with Tire Plug Kits?

Truth! I've never replaced a plugged tire on the car, truck or motorcycle. Run 'em till they're wore out.

Can Am Spyders Resale value isn't great...

We never took resale value in consideration, it's what checks all the boxes for us at the moment that's meaningful.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

I just got home from picking up the Spyder @dealer... The "Suspension Fault" turned out to be a bad compressor and a flaky suspension sensor, both replaced. It was in the shop for 5 weeks and a day. Now to hook back up one of the wires for the Flash2Pass, as my garage door opener didn't work...

I built support blocks to raise the Spyder for oil changes etc.

I built a few after my first oil change like you did. They are hanging up in the garage for next time. Good looking!

What did you do to your Spyder today?

I stopped by the local shop, where our Spyder is sitting waiting for a replacement compressor to arrive, and whilst we were there, the parts guy handed a carton (containing the replacement compressor from BRP) to the service department fella, saying that it was the part for our Spyder! I hope...

Returning member after years on a Goldwing Trike - anyone else done this? Thoughts?

We rode a Goldwing since purchasing one in 2005. Triked it a few years ago with a reverse trike kit installed by Hannigan. Just this year we were having suspension/front end problems and moth balled it and purchased a new '25 RTL S2S, and we are happy! It's Bluetooth

Have you mounted a remote bus bar away from the battery? Where did you put it?

A while back, I ordered an accessory fuse block kit that I hope to install later this year that can provide power for those items... You might take a look at one of those?! Then I'd run the wires from out under the seat(s) when needed.

There really are no alternatives to the Can Am reverse trikes

We went down that road with a Hannigan Reverse trike kit to our 2005 Goldwing and after 7 years, the front end play got to be a problem and the factory was of little help as the sourced parts were not available to replace and so we bought a new Spyder.... Should we have bought a Spyder back...
