• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is an Aerostich suit the way to go? Or not?

No experience with Aero, but here I do the ATGATT, All The Gear All The Time. In my case that means leather pants, jacket and gloves. Every trip. Up to 95 deg. Then I allow myself to wear armored mesh. Fo my money, if you’ve always wanted one, go for it, but wear it. All the time, for...

Don't Be Fooled! Looking at you DOES NOT mean they SEE you!

Agree all except about assuming. Watch the wheels. Watch the heads. Watch all other body parts, even wave and say Hi! And then ASSUME: Every other driver has seen you and is trying to kill you. No accident, no mistake. They are trying to kill you. On purpose. Nothing accidental. BTW, I drive...

Spyder owners are stuck up - why is this so?? Please explain...

Agree with all above, but original post mentioned riders new to the sport as well. I am fairly old, started riding a Honda in ‘70s, but can still remember it was quite while before either hand left a grip unless I was stopped. And, even now 50 years after that Honda, I’m still one of the riders...

What's the general opinion - Wax or Ceramic on your Spyder?

Vince, I see multiple gray bottles at Wally…. Could you add the name of the one you’ve picked? Thanks!

What bike did you ride to get your motorcycle license ??

New 1979 HONDA CX500. Kid from bike shop took me to school parking lot for 1/2 hour with Honda 125. Went back next day and used my bike for 1/2 hour. Went back 3rd day and kid drove me to Sec of State where I took “road” test. Got endorsement and the kid had the nerve to let me drive him back to...

Brand New 2022 RT Limited with Issues !!!

I read you checked the tires, but didn’t see where you checked psi. On my first trip off the trailer I had a fair amount of wobbling, initially attributing it to 2 wheel experience and gripping too tightly. Long story short the I had 3 different tire pressures that varied by 10 psi. Corrected...

Do iMotorsport charge fees & freight? Any hidden fees?

Second the suggestion to email them. Simply reference the unit you want and ask for a complete out-the-door price, including delivery if you won’t be picking it up.

Need a Seat Cushion for my 2022 RTL - any suggestions?

I kept the Alaska Leather when I finally sold my Indian Springfield. It works great on my RTL, for me, but if I didn’t have it, sounds like the AirHawk would be worth a try!

2020+ RT Passenger Arm Rests finally available! New Part No

TC Boone seems happy, Bud Voss is not. Is it just subjective and a matter of taste or are there some inconsistencies in this new production run? Any insight?

What Build and destination charge did you pay?

Bought my 2022 last year, no extra fees, discount off msrp. See Pat Sempert at Leaders RPM in Kalamazoo, Mi

Good Spyder dealer in Kalamazoo, Michigan

+1 on all the above. Bought my Indian Springfield from them. Best deal and best wrench! Then when I needed to move to 3 wheels I bought my RTL from the same guy. Best deal again! Great resources and always willing to help.

Try BajaRon's stabilizer before getting new Shocks? Or What?

For Teleman58, Appkrill, and FrogmanDave: could you provide more details about what the actual differences and improvements in handling and ride, etc. And for askitee: what were the multiple problems solved by different shocks? And which ones? Thanks!

Vredestein for front - what size do I need?

Thank you, Mr. Aawen! Sounds like my thinking was a bit too anticipatory - so more turns of the tubes down the road, and no worries, as I learn more about my new RTL

Vredestein for front - what size do I need?

This has been a great read, but so far limited to the front end. In the past, if I’ve put new rubber on, it’s been “all the way around”. Would it be reasonable for a ‘22 RTL to get just two new fronts to start, and leave the rear on for a while? None are worn yet, the change would just be for...
