• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Paddle shifter need help!

Sorry I only have pics where the paddle shifter plugs in The wires enter a rectangular tube in front of the bars and on top of the frame. So many wires running through this tube you can't pull the connector out through it, or let alone run the new one back through it. I ended up re-routing...

Spyder as a Primary mode of transportation

Don't forget about more maintenance I have used my spyder for my primary vehicle for the last 3 of the last 4 years. It's a blast, don't get me wrong, but it's still cheaper to maintain my 4 x 4 truck than do maintenance on the spyder! Thankfully I'm able to turn my own wrenches and do not have...

Hissy Fit? I took Spydee to work today. She kept scrolling the check transmission message (No "E" or "R" displayed) and the idiot light for the first ten miles then it never showed up again for the remaining 40 miles. Once I was off work, I took a little more scenic route home and never once...

replacing the headlight bulb in a 2011 rss ?

A couple thing I've learned while doing this..... If you use a plastic cable tie, about 3/16" wide, and long enough to grab hold of ....you can remove your instrument cluster without taking off the windshield. Takes less than 30 seconds. I find that if I remove the middle side panels and the...

    Winter rider

Keep the car handy! Living in Minnesota, I try to ride as much as possible, and yes that means riding in winter. It's not so much the cold that's a problem, it's the snow and ice. I do not venture out if there is any snow or ice on the road. Sorry but the Spyder is useless under those...
