• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    HowTo: Remote Garage Door Opener

Finally got around to installing my solution for a garage door opener. As I stated in my 3/22/24 post, I REFUSED to use the crooks at Mo-Door since they took $160 of my money and two of my remotes to supposedly come up with a custom solution that would fit in the switch blank of the 2020+ RT...

    HowTo: Remote Garage Door Opener

Well, almost a year later, 2 remotes and cash sent, and not a peep from Mo-Door. Either they're out of business or not interested in customer service because my calls and emails go unanswered. So, never again will I do business with Mo-Door! Can't believe they ghosted me after such excellent...

    HowTo: Remote Garage Door Opener

HastingsRider, Thanks - a little late on this reply for sure! Saw the Slingmods one, but just talked to EJ at Mo-Door about doing me up one that will open my garage door and driveway gate with a 2-position toggle. Might be pricey but they think they can do it. I'll keep everyone posted.

    HowTo: Remote Garage Door Opener

I had the Mo-Door on the wife’s 2018 RT Limited; correct me if I’m wrong but Mo-Door does not yet make one that matches the 2022 switch style. I too am interested in where you got your matching switch. I need one with two momentary contacts to operate two devices.

Any ideas where to get Touch up paint?

Agree with others on Scratches Happen. They had the electric blue for my wife's 2018 RT-L SE6. Plan to use them for her new Merlot 2022 RT-L.

Fitted Heated Comfort Seat '22 RT Ltd - now no heated pass. hand grips! Why?

Brent, Oddly, I just realized my wife's new '22 RT-Limited doesn't have a passenger heated grips switch either, despite passenger heated grips clearly being listed on the features section of Can Am's specs for an RT-L. Since we just got the bike Friday, I'll be calling the dealer promptly...

Where can I get Oxford Blue Metallic Paint & clear-coat for 2019 RT Ltd?

I can vouch for the Scratches Happen stuff - perfect match for my wife’s Oxford Blue 2018.

Anyone tried Handle Bar End Weights? Any good??

I did Slingmods bar end weights and foam grips for my wife’s 2018 Spyder RT Limited SE6. She says she loves the changes; I can definitely notice a difference in handlebar “buzz”.

2018 RT Newbie Question - does this Spyder have CanBus electricals?

Thanks everyone for the excellent advice and guidance. I WILL invest in a service manual and as one of the responses suggested, I come from the BMW world where CanBus is common and simply tapping into the bike’s lighting circuits won’t work. The genesis of my question was to see if I could...

2018 RT Newbie Question - does this Spyder have CanBus electricals?

Hey Folks, Bought my wife a new to her 2018 RT Limited and am farkling it up for her. My question, being new to the BRP/Can Am world, is this: does this bike have a canbus electrical system, or can I expect to find traditional 12VDC at the license plate lamp (and elsewhere for that matter) in...
