• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Harmonic Belt Vibration Gone!

Don't know. I had a 2013 RT-L and did not have the belt vibration problem, however the '13 ran at a much higher RPM than the '15 and this vibration problem seems to be related to the RPM. Many of the owners of the 2015 RT who I have spoken to, have the vibration problem.

    Harmonic Belt Vibration Gone!

Spyder Lyter and I had the Smooth Spyder Belt Tensioner installed on our 2015 RT Limited yesterday by Outlaw Engineering in Edgewater, FL. We both had a disturbing harmonic belt vibration beginning at 3800 RPM through 4050 RPM which BRP couldn't fix. We tested the tensioner at interstate speeds...

Calling all 2014-2015 RT owners with "Belt Vibration"

Vibration at high speeds I have a 2015 RT Limited with the same vibration problem. At 72 MPH and above it begins to vibrate which is felt mainly through the foot boards. I have not done the experiment you described, but what I have done is (with cruise control on) bump the speed up or down 1-2...

    Non- BRP trailer woes

Update for non-BRP trailer woes Success at last! The BIG BIKE Parts trailer wire harness 41-162 combined with the Hopkins 5 to 4 converter HM 48895 on my 2015 RT Ltd has restored power to my completely rewired Lumina XL trailer. I had to try three converters before I found one that worked...

    Non- BRP trailer woes

Well, I've rewired my trailer and I installed a BIG BIKE trailer harness on the 2015 RT Ltd, and I am ready to attach the trailer plug to the end of the new harness, How do I go from the 5 wires on the harness to the 4 wires on the trailer? The 5th wire is the brake light; can I combine that...

    Non-BRP trailer woes

Non-BRP Trailer Woes Well John, I took the side panel off the RT guess what trailer module BRP uses? You are right, it is the 5 to 4 Hopkins. What is so frustrating is trying to figure out what is happening to a sealed, solid state component with a couple of relays and a pass-through wire for...

    Non-BRP trailer woes

I appreciate everyone's comments about what could be happening to the trailer module. While the ground situation sounded promising, I found that each LED light is individually grounded to the frame, so the ground is good. I've decided to go ahead and re-wire the trailer; don't know if it will...

    Non-BRP trailer woes

That's exactly what I am going to do when I find out why I am losing all these modules. Not sure how to find an intermittent short.

    Non-BRP trailer woes

Checking the ground is a good suggestion. Would a bad or no ground on the trailer cause the trailer module to short out without blowing the 10 amp trailer module fuse? Why have I lost all these modules (4) without blowing a single fuse?

    Non-BRP trailer woes

My problem is that I am trying to pull a non-BRP trailer with a 2015 RT Ltd and I keep losing power to the trailer after a few miles. This has happened several times; the dealer keeps replacing the controller; it works for a while then no lights again. I had the trailer wiring checked at a shop...
