• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Close calls?

Well I can add one here...I was in a town that I was not familiar on a sight seeing tour. I turned off a side street making a right turn on to a main street. I no sooner turned and a car was right in front of me, coming at me.. I put on the brakes and stopped in a hurry as the car swerved to...

    Wiring for Corbin Heated seat?

I have the BRP heated comfort seat and it's plugged directly into the existing wiring. Some wiring is under the seat and some up front. You will have to take some tupperware off to get to it. You then turn the seat on or off with the heated grip controls..I'm going from memory here but it...

Rear brake issue on my 2014 RTS SE6

Hi Gary,I was wondering if you torqued the rear axle nut or if the dealer did it. I'm still unsure which number to use. Thanks

    brake failure

Thanks for the info guys. I got the alarms to cancel...I read in another tread that backing it up might work and it did. I backed it the length of the garage and all faults are gone..I guess the nanny doesn't like when the bike runs with the rear wheel off the ground, I'm thinking. Snowing here...

    brake failure

Thanks Chupaca, I did top the fluid up but its no different. Im not sure what the abs sensor looks like but you may very well be on the right track...I suspect the wiring that runs into the brake has to do with the sensor. That cable is fine..I do have a abs alarm on my panel. I will have to...

    brake failure

I tried adjusting my drive belt and seems I have created other problems..The right nut on the axle was extremely tight and I struggled to get it to loosen. It finally came and I got my belt tighten to where it should be and tightened the rear nut up again. I now have a brake failure alarm and...

    No Help In Kalispell

Time to dump on the Kalispell dealer some more. I was in Kalispell to meet with my 2 boys and families for a weekend of camping. Just outside of Kalispell I hit about 5 miles of fresh chipseal. Being in a line of traffic I rode it out. The rocks were ticking off the bottom of the bike and I felt...

    antenna

Thanks guys, I called the service guy who said I would have to pay for it up front and if BRP deemed it a warranty case they would reimburse me. He is to get back to me with my cost. $75 doesn't seem to bad but I'm not sure which way I'll go yet. Again thanks.

    antenna

I was on a recent road trip when I stopped for gas I noticed my antenna was gone. It was broke just below where it comes up out of the plastic. I have no ides when it broke. It could have been broken off while parked as I'm just not in the habit of looking at it. Has this ever happen to anyone...

    Belt Vibration

I have a lot of belt vibration around the 70mph mark. When I had it in for the first service the tech said he would not adjust it because my rear tire is worn out and belt will get adjusted when tire is replaced. If this doesn't solve my problem I will try the belt tension system. Will the belt...

    Going to a car tire

I rolled the dice and rode my bike home(2000km). I was on a road trip and no where near home when I first noticed my tire. Rear tire is now worn down in the middle almost like a racing slick(no wear bars or noticable tread left). I ran 28psi in the rear from the time I got the bike. Mileage now...
