• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone using a Stand alone Apple CarPlay/Android Device? Any recommendations?

This adaptor supposedly connects to your phone and the carplay head on the bike, and I suppose, 'translates' android maps, calls, etc to display on the carplay screen. Not so sure about how seemless it might be. Basically its supposed to trick the display into thinking it, and thereby your...

Anyone using a Stand alone Apple CarPlay/Android Device? Any recommendations?

Adjacent to this thread. Has anyone had any luck with an Android <-> Carplay adapter? A friend of mine suggested that he looked into one a year or so back when a potential new car had only had A Auto and he was an iPhone guy. He didn't get one, but I didn't even think they existed. CP-AA from...

How does the Older and Newer Generation RT Passenger seat/leg room compare?

Thanks. LMK if you get anywhere with BRP. I've ridden bikes since '86, so I should be used to riding without. I did really like the Goldwing with built-in GPS. I rarely connected AAuto and it got me to where I was going when touring, or at the office with 'let's go to lunch at that new place...

How does the Older and Newer Generation RT Passenger seat/leg room compare?

Thanks @Ages . We found a very unused (3,500 km) 2024 RTL, and will be picking it up April some time. We went dealer hopping and tried a bunch of model/years. We'll try riding this year and see if we need to do any mods, or maybe this change one will let me get a backrest. We'll see. Looks...

How does the Older and Newer Generation RT Passenger seat/leg room compare?

Sounds like us with the Goldwing bought during covid. Yeah, I can touch the ground, I can hold it up with passenger. I can move around the parking lot. But, put a few pebbles under my feet or try stopping on uneven surface when 2 up and yikes! Then I got it home and backed out of my garage on...

How does the Older and Newer Generation RT Passenger seat/leg room compare?

Thanks everyone, I found my answers on the Corbin seat site. We'll take a look at the older model, now that I know there is an extra 3.5" over the F3. I'm posting the info here, should others be looking for the specs: RT 2020+ 18" Passenger length, 19" Passenger width RT 2010-2019 13" Passenger...

How does the Older and Newer Generation RT Passenger seat/leg room compare?

Hi, thinking of moving from a Goldwing to a Spyder. We were at the dealer today and sat on a 2024/2025 RT and F3. They did not have any used models in stock. The F3 had the driver backrest which remained folded when my wife got on the passenger seat due to her leg position. I couldn't get on...
