• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Towing with excessive tongue weight

I just weighed my tongue weight empty - 37 pounds. That box is heavy! I am starting off at a huge disadvantage.

    Towing with excessive tongue weight

I do have a box with 7 pounds of gear. I am guessing the box is light (3 pounds?) since it is fiberglass. At ten pounds, and about 60% of the distance to the tongue from the axle, that should be adding only 6 pounds.

Riding with no air in air suspension on F3-T

Sounds like I can do the trips without damaging my Spyder, albeit with less comfort. Thanks.

Riding with no air in air suspension on F3-T

My dealer will fix it, but not until after the trips. I am reluctant to put a sealer in there.

    Towing with excessive tongue weight

I know what you are saying and that is why I am going to weigh the trailer empty. If I add 65 pounds in gear, put the heavier things in the rear, mechanics say the part in front of the first third of the axle should add 1/3 of it's weight. The part from behind the axle should reduce it. That...

    Towing with excessive tongue weight

What happens if you tow a trailer with excessive tongue weight? I have two major trips planned with my Lees-ure Lite. I went on an overnight trip a few days ago to work out bugs. After many hours I have them all corrected except excessive tongue weight. Despite my best efforts I could not get...

Riding with no air in air suspension on F3-T

What is bad about having no air in the air suspension? I am going on two major trips before I can get my leaky air bag fixed. What exactly should I be on the look out for besides a bit rougher ride? Thanks.

Best Looking (cleanest) phone mount in my opinion

Can you tell me what torque settings you use to tighten the bolts on the handlebar? I can find the order but not that. After riding yesterday I decided to adjust mine. btw - I agree. I have one too.

    What to buy???? F3T or F3Limited ????????

I like how much I can carry with an aftermarket luggage rack on an F3-T (BRP luggage rack is small and slants). I used to really load it down (I just bought a Lees-ure Lite making it obsolete). You can buy convenient top loading drybags.

Need hitch and harness advice for Lee-sure Lite

Oops. You are correct. Good catch. Too late for me, but good for others.

    Ear / Hearing Protection

If you get earlplugs, I think your best bet is to order several sample packs from the ear plug superstore: https://www.earplugstore.com/unfoamtrialp.html If you like a pair make sure you try them with your helmet. My favorite was a no-roll (I have one ear very difficult to fit), but the handle...

Need hitch and harness advice for Lee-sure Lite

Thanks for asking. I ordered a Can-Am hitch Friday because LaMonster and Spyderpops sells a converter from the Can-Am plug to a 4 pin flat. I will be ordering that converter and so I also finalized the order Friday for the Lees-ure Lite with a 4 pin flat. Pierre of Spyder Accessories has a...

Need hitch and harness advice for Lee-sure Lite

Why is that? I read multiple statements in past threads that said that, and what I pursued first, but never a good explanation it is my best bet. The Spyderpops adapter makes it an option again.

    Nitrogen in Spyder Tires?

When Consumer Reports tested Nitrogen in tires, they generated the most discussion on their boards they ever had. Conclusion: Nitrogen seeps out slower, but not slow enough to eliminate the need to regularly check tires. Only real benefit is high pressure situations like commercial truck...

Need hitch and harness advice for Lee-sure Lite

I took advantage of Lee-sure Lite's NAFTA sale and ordered a trailer. What type of hitch and wiring harness/controller should I get? I have an F3-T, and I know it takes it own hitch. From past posts it looks like the Can-Am hitch is the way to go. However the dealer says it comes with a...
