• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Friend concidering buying 2010 RT any advice?

Still have our 2010 RTS with 61,500 miles. Running great, and have had to replace/fix 1) windshield center support with "NoBoots" billet aluminum support, 2) mirror attachment plastic tab that screws onto mirror and interfaces with upper metal post, 3) RH fender bracket (weld crack), 4) air...

HowTo: Replace the Windsheld Arm with Billet Aluminum Arm.

Replace Windsheld Arm with Billet Aluminum one. I truly believe every RT owner will eventually have this happen to them! Get your replacement part and make the change BEFORE it breaks and messes up a trip you may be in the middle of when it decides to let go. When it does, it comes right...

    2010 RT SM5 Mirror Tab/Clip Broken- Need Parts #

Yes, it will work for either side. It flips over to use for the other side. The same applies for 60b with the metal springs... They'll work for either LH or RH mirrors. Bill Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    2010 RT SM5 Mirror Tab/Clip Broken- Need Parts #

Lady, Yes, item 1 is what failed. That hole is larger because the plastic got sheared off over time and miles of vibration by the metal post it hooks over. Take a look at the pic below and you can see what a new part looks like. This is my spare. It wouldn't hurt to have a spare spring...

Rolled past 57,000 miles with my 2010 RTS

It's evident to me that there's a lot of spyderlover enthusiasts here having a great summer. Am planning a 1,000 mile "Sore Saddle" Iron Butt ride from Brighton to Iron Mountain in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, sometime in next month or so. Have any of you done something similar and have...

    2010 RT SM5 Mirror Tab/Clip Broken- Need Parts #

I had same thing happen to me on my 2010 at about 40,000 miles. The plastic gets sheared by the relatively sharp edge of the mirror stud groove that the plastic wafer hooks into. The part is available through your dealer. Buy a few extra cause it's good to have a spare few of these around...

    "WOW" factor ideas?

"WOW" factor ideas? Lol. You're right.... But isn't laziness the root of all invention? Do you use intermittent wipers on your car? Here's another one.... We use the corded mic/intercom on our RTS and set the VOX level for the intercom at a certain level for in town and speeds...

    "WOW" factor ideas?

"WOW" factor ideas? We all have been pleasantly surprised or said "wow" to certain features / functions / styling of the Spyder..... What did BRP forget? Here's one idea I wish they had designed in: "Speed Compensating Windshield" - I generally put the windshield to full up above...
