• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Either "The Spyder" or "The bike". I don't name motorcycles, cars, or guitars.

Problems with 2014 RT Limited Spyder

I'm just wondering...how much of this is on the dealer? Was the bike(s) assembled incorrectly to begin with? It does sound like he's been given incorrect info from the dealer more than once. Though the letter does drift into hyperbole, it is quite entertaining.

    Full face helmet

I've been using full face helmets since they first became available to me in 1976. In 1980 a Simpson helmet literally saved my life. These days my wife and I only wear Snell rated helmets (Shoei's). I want the best I can afford on my head.

The 10 Most Reliable Motorcycle Companies

My RT has had some problems but all were quickly fixed by my dealer at no cost to me and I love riding my Spyder. I will say, every Yamaha/Star motorcycle I ever owned (RD400, XS500, VStar 1300T) were absolutely bullet proof, as was the one Suzuki (Boulevard 800). I've also owned a Kawasaki...

    Mustang seat for 2016 F3 LTD/SS

All I can say is I had Mustang seats for my Yamaha V-Star 1300T and my Suzuki M50 and they were both superior to the OEM seats. Still looking at an Ultimate seat for my RT-AC.

    Burnt leg!

I suffered third degree burns on the lower outside of my right leg in 1980 when a drunk driver hit me on my Yamaha XS500 from the side and his radiator ruptured, burning me with radiator fluid. That burned off all the skin in the burn area and some of the flesh underneath (i also had a major...

Just what is it about those airwings...

I have them and they're great for directing air flow and reducing helmet bobble. They're far better than the lowers I used to have on my last two wheeler.

New Spyder RT-S owner- need advice

I use Purple Slice. However, I've found if I spend all my time trying to keep my RT spotless, I have very little time for riding.
