• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Wish I had not gone with a Vredestien Tire

Sometimes size matters, sometimes it doesn't. Bigger is not always better.

    2026 model year reveal 8-17-25 6:45 PM

Sorta seems the product announcement for on road was rushed to the get to the higher priority (profit/sales numbers) items. It will always be this way until percentage of sales goes up. Could have been handled is less than 30 seconds with "We've got new colors"

My New 2025 Sea-to-Sky - any suggestions on what gear or upgrades to get first?

First thing to get is enough fuel to go about 1,000 miles, then you will know what you need to add.

Having trouble wiring a Garmin XT, so should I just run it on its battery? If I do, will it still show traffic?

I think the box drops the 12 volts down to 5 volts. Some of the car Garmin's received traffic in some locations using a small antenna that was built into the power cable. Now it happens thru an app on your phone.

When you add FOBO TPMS to your Tires, will they need rebalancing?

No, the sensors are surprisingly light.

Can the Spyder's battery be changed to lithium? Pro's & Con's?

You can also just turn on the lights for a few minutes. Anything to get the battery actively working.

It looks like the FOBO TPMS site has gone belly up! Just letting you know...

Setting in my office with the car parked outside about 50 feet away and it looks like its working perfectly... damn it, right front is .2 low.

What do you think is the Best Full Cover For Travel? How big is the storage pouch?

I use the Can-Am half cover. Stuff sack is built in and I can install or remove very quickly. Has been on/off 100's of times over the years and it's still holding up well. The only parts covered are what I would be worried about.

    Riding Gear Poll

jdg, to me a good modular is worth the few additional ounces. All I have to add is I ain't wearing no flip flops.

Spending some time not riding, should I disconnect my BS Lithium battery?

If you disconnect either the positive OR the negative (earth) lead of the battery it will cause absolutely no harm. Either one breaks the circuit and as far as the battery is concerned it is hooked to nothing.

What could cause this Squeal on starting out in first gear?

Yes it is lubed in engine oil. Oil choice could make a difference.
