• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Gustafsson Windshield

That wasn't the way I measured. I used a 4 foot level and measured to the top of the seat. Then, myself to the top of the seat. It is ridiculous to measure to the instrument panel because that doesn't include your height. From the measurements below, you can calculate the height from the length...

    Gustafsson Windshield

I made some measurements as follows: Blue Ridge Windshield on 2015 F3-S Motorcycle Length of Windshield: 21.5” Windshield rake: 47 degrees Windshield height from the top front of the seat: 20.5” Windshield X-Screen clamped on in lowest position to the top front of the seat: 23.5” Bottom of my...

    Gustafsson Windshield

I measure the Blue Ridge Windshield as 21.5" The Gustassson's are 13", 17", and 30". The mid range would be 17", which is too short for me. The 30" would be too tall because I like to look over the windshield. John

    Gustafsson Windshield

I have the Blue Ridge Windshield on my F3. I get a lot of helmet and body buffeting above 55 mph. I added the X-Creen to the Blue Ridge and didn't see any improvement. i'm considering a new larger windshield. Some have suggested the Gustafasson. It makes me nervous to drill holes in a plastic...

    Helmet Buffeting

After already spending $600, I hate to spend another $520 on a windshield. But, I'm considering it. John

    Helmet Buffeting

I agree with what you are saying. However, I should have titled this article body buffeting. I feel turbulence coming from the top and sides of the windshield. I think the primary problem is that I'm far away from the windshield and the Blue Ridge windshield angle is very low. Originally, the...

    Helmet Buffeting

I tried the X-creen several times in several positions on the Blue Ridge Windshield. I cannot say it is effective in reducing wind. It makes only a small difference. I think one of the problems is that a person sits far away from the windshield on the F3. However, I can live with the wind... John

Jacket or No Jacket in Hot Weather - Which is Cooler?

I never used a jacket in the the hot summer weather in 46 years of riding. I'm perfectly happy riding in the winter. I only stop when the snow arrives. I'm alway hot. I tried a cooling vest that fills with ice packs. It is supposed to last 4 hours. It lasted me only 30 minutes. I don't usually...
