• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    2016 F3-T SM6 with Codes C0063 and C006C - any suggestions?

Well I got my Spyder back and rode it home... no Limp Home or VSS faults. The report is that they had to reset the Steering Angle sensor because it and the Yaw sensor were miscommunicating. To be safe, one tech rode it last night after resetting the sensor, another tech and the service manager...

Any concerns with the idea of buying a 2017 F3 now?

I recently bought a 2016 F3-T. It only had 5k miles on it, so I had things I needed to check over and or replace. But if the maintenance records are good and the price is right, then I would buy it. I almost bought one with 30k miles on it last year, but it was a little beat up and he had a...

    2016 F3-T SM6 with Codes C0063 and C006C - any suggestions?

I'm the second owner of the Spyder and I purchased it in the Spring... it is totally stock with the exception of a passenger back rest. Since I have owned it, I have changed the oil and some fluids, got a new battery, and upgraded the sway bar and end links two weeks ago, right before this...

    2016 F3-T SM6 with Codes C0063 and C006C - any suggestions?

Took it to the dealer today. Luckily for me, there is one very close to where I live. They said this: "Our technician found a miscommunication in the steering angle and yaw sensors. We reset the steering sensor and test rode the vehicle, the light has not come back on yet, however, we would...

    2016 F3-T SM6 with Codes C0063 and C006C - any suggestions?

Amazon had a sale on the NOCO NLP 20 battery, so I went ahead and pulled the trigger on one. The current battery is 4 years old, so I was going to need one sooner or later anyway. I made sure it was fully charged with my NOCO Genius 5 on the lithium setting. installed it, and it started right...

    2016 F3-T SM6 with Codes C0063 and C006C - any suggestions?

The battery connections were cleaned well when I had it out and all connections are still tight Replacing the battery is a good idea, I should have just done it last month. If I get a battery and try and go for a ride, is it possible that the code will reset? Or do I have to take it to the...

    2016 F3-T SM6 with Codes C0063 and C006C - any suggestions?

Any chance that if I had weight on the seat and had the passenger foot pegs folded up, that would create the issue? If that did create the issue, how do I clear the codes? I tried the whole 'keep your foot on the brake while starting the bike' scenario and it did nothing. Also, if for some...

    2016 F3-T SM6 with Codes C0063 and C006C - any suggestions?

I didn’t disconnect anything with the pillion seat switch. I think I saw the switch (looks like a hockey puck) but I didn't disconnect it. I don’t even know how to disconnect it. The reason I took the seat off was to add some air to the airbag. I read that you shouldn’t overfill it and most...

    2016 F3-T SM6 with Codes C0063 and C006C - any suggestions?

I took the battery to a battery place about a month ago and he did a load test and said it was good. I don’t remember the numbers.

    2016 F3-T SM6 with Codes C0063 and C006C - any suggestions?

I have a 2016 F3-T that I bought earlier this year. I have put a few hundred miles on it and started getting really comfortable with it. A few weeks ago, I had the pulley recall completed and then I bought and installed a sway bar and end links. This was an upgrade I had on my Ryker and I loved...

    Finally got my Spyder!

I fixed it. By saying Ryker Rally (which had a sway bar) I meant sway bar upgrade - specifically the BajaRon sway bar for the Ryker. Clearly all spyders and Rykers have sway bars from the factory.

    Finally got my Spyder!

I think I agree. I just spent most of the day riding and I was on a variety of different roads, including a fair bit of curves and hills. The Spyder has much more body roll and even feels wallow-y compared to my Ryker Rally (which had an upgraded Baja ron sway bar)

    Finally got my Spyder!

After a few months, I wanted to come back and give a report. Again, this is my first Spyder, but I did own a '19 Ryker Rally for a few years. The Spyder is much more comfortable than the Ryker for me. The Spyder is much much, much, MUCH more comfortable for my wife. The Spyder is better at...

Where are you from? Where do you live?

Columbus, Ohio Pro’s - still feels like a small city even though it no longer is; diversity; 4 seasons; not far from SE Ohio and WV and some good roads Con’s - one of the seasons is the rainy season, which takes place from winter to mid summer; it's far away from ocean (I grew up in FL)

2016 Spyder F3-T - is this a Battery showing signs of age/decay? Or is it not charging? If so, why?

Considering the OE Yuasa is $130-150 online and $186 at my closest dealership, that Noco NLP20 lithium battery for $180 might be the ticket. I think with a lithium battery, having a much lower rate of self-discharge, that a maintainer might not be necessary. I would like to ride more than I...
