• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Rear tire size??

I’ve run that tire for 16,000 miles, about to put another just like it on it, wife is a big girl so I run 26 PSI and it wears perfectly even.. In my opinion it grips as good in the rain and isn’t as sloppy in the twisties… The carcass is much stiffer so it doesn’t shift and mis-shape as weight...

Bright Headlights Daytime Yes or No

High beams in daytime period, no matter how bright! Being noticed/seen is good. They know you are there, even if it aggravates them in the process...

Reasonable cost to have a tire installed

Look for independent shops... Yep, the stealers around here want $150-$200+ to install a rear tire and don't even bother with getting the drive belt tension and tracking right....I pull my own, get them swapped for $25 each at a local independent shop, haul them to a car tire shop to spin...

    Sway Bar Difference

My Take on the Baja Ron Bar..... Well, I did what I said and put one on....No more than an Hr job once I somewhat cleverly figured out how to get it far enough into the air... I like the way it fit, LOVE the way those links are made, and like the extra stiffness... On the plus side, I can...

    RT brake questions.......

We had some pad left and could have gone 1000's more miles likely, and for the life of me cannot understand the strange pull to the left and braking stability issue.....There seems to have been no explainable reason....But whatever it was the new brakes fixed it completely...Put 130 miles on it...

    RT brake questions.......

Not trying to morph into a tire thread...but.... All is right in Spyder world again....My mechanic had theories about bent spindles, messed up bearings, ect....Could not believe it would be brand new tires causing that horrible issue....But we popped those crappy arachnids off and put a new set...

    Looking at an RT

Wouldn't hurt to shop around a little more..Got our RT SM6 for $17,900 brand spanking new.....Hattiesburg cycles knocked $4000+ straight off the top to get rid of the previous model year and make room for the new ones... I'd Contact Hattiesburg Cycles (Hattiesburg,Ms.) and see what they can...

    Looking at an RT

BEST doesn't ring a bell..... It's not B.E.S.T.(best I can remember).......Not sure the name but it is a 3 year warranty that started when the factory warranty ran out, no deductable, and all major components are supposed to be covered...I can't remember it's name....Premier or something like...

    Looking at an RT

It's what we did... Thats what we did, factory warranty for 2years and separate extended warranty for 3more.. According to our dealer the extended warranty isn't near as persnickety as the BRP warranty was and your aftermarket add pn's won't void any part of that warranty like BRP could...And...
