• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Split the dash? Got a couple of VW clips that look similar on Amazon, they didn't work but I managed to cut my thumb to the bone. Been searching for a way to split the dash to access the headlight housings and can't find instructions any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Barry

    Salvage yards If you read upstream you will notice that I have. Have checked with 2 dealers BRP directly several times, Hella the manufacturer of the headlight. Going to check with Xenon Depot on Monday hoping that any replacement set up doesn't require the mystery clip : )

    Dealer Went to the dealer right away they don't have it and can't get it. I hung around while he talked to BRP tech for 30 minutes and they couldn't help. I could buy the whole headlight assembly for $246 each to get the clip but can't bring myself to do that.

    Is there a plug and play headlight system for 2010 RS that doesn't need retainers etc. from the original H7 set up? I lost the two small metal retaining clips and can't get replacements anywhere and bulbs won't stay in place without them. Thanks, Barry

    No lights Driving as it started to get dark last night noticed there essentially was no light shining more than 2 feet in front of bike, duct tape doesn't hold bulbs in place. Does anybody know if I put in led bulbs if they need the same retainer? Thanks, Barry

    Duct tape Well I checked everywhere including a motorcycle junk yard, had dealer check with BRP no luck. Looks like VW has one for the Passat but it was $26.00 for one yikes and wasn't sure it it was exact. Trouble with hot glue I may need to change them again : ) Thats the same parts...

    Was replacing the headlight bulbs on 2010 RS the I dropped the retainer that holds the bulb to the socket which it turns out you need to secure it to the lamp fixture. Got the other one put in but took it out to see if I could find a match and dropped that one in the nether world of the engine...
