• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Do we like modular helmets or not???

Wife and I wear LS2 Valiant. I may be misstating but I believe they are one of the few modular helmets that are DOT approved in both configurations; chin bar down and locked and flipped all the way back to the rear of the helmet.

    Social Security Questions

Using the examples you give, doing the math, you will break even at 85 years of age, all things being equal and assuming you are working until you retire be it either 65 or 70. I don't know what other factors come into play that may skew the way I am assuming it works out. Retire at 65. At 85...

    make it sound better

Spyder Steve, Did you have any additional baffles added? Did you notice any drop in low end grunt or off the line acceleration? Thanks.

    make it sound better

I am on the fence about this very same purchase. Are you planning on sticking with the stock muffler? At this point, that is where I am heading. RLS cat delete and keep the rest stock. Can you report back and let us know your impressions of the sound? Thanks, Dave

Chances of a plug in electric Spyder...

OK, like I said in the parentheses, "maybe not 2 but still..." :lecturef_smilie:, however, based on the 70K price mentioned elsewhere in this thread AND the as of yet unreleased standard battery Model 3 that has been touted as being in the 35K price range, I was somewhat close. ;)...

Why We Live Where We Do

My Dad worked for Kodak until we moved to Arizona. My wife has absolutely zero interest in living anywhere it snows and it sticks for more than a day! Even a visit is iffy! I meant to say I was going to take her back there for a visit for all the summer reasons you mentioned. It is spot on.

They need to talk to Elon over at Tesla. You can buy 2 model 3's for that price! (maybe not 2 but still...)

Wind Shield options for HOT weather riding

Ride Report I received the windshield last Wednesday and got in installed Thursday or Friday afternoon. Due to weather (rain in Arizona, who would have thunk!) and other life events, I was not able to ride with the windshield until this morning. The tint is just right. The short windscreen at...

    East Valley riding group....?

North Phoenix, 51/101 area. I can get just about anywhere to meet up. I saw the forecast for Sunday. May need to postpone. We were originally going up north but that is a no go at this point, also due to weather.

Darn, missed this one. Next time for sure. I don't have a facebook account but my wife does. We will need to see about joining/signing up with a local facebook group.

Chances of a plug in electric Spyder...

Some of the stories I read from back in 2016 indicated a range of 105 miles on their prototype. I would like to think that current battery technology has improved over the last 2 years. Maybe not to the point of 200 mile range without weighing in like a Chevy Suburban but it has to be somewhat...
