• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Type of oil used in 1330 engine

Thanks to all !! To "Centurion"----yes the box does say it is for 1330 engine and it is 5w-40. The box is kinda beat up a bit. Makes me suspect that I am not the first to open it, and I wondered if someone bought the wrong kit for their bike and had to return it. Also, the filter is not sealed...

Type of oil used in 1330 engine

Hello to all, I just got back from a 5300 mile trip from Ohio to Idaho. We went thru Yellowstone, over Bear tooth pass and thru some of the Rockies. No problems with my 2014 RT-S !!!!! I have a question. My wife picked up an oil change kit from the local dealer for me. I was surprised to find...

    ADDING A VENT TO WINDSHIELD

HELLO TO ALL, Since I do not really have the money for a F4 windshield, I guess I'll try installing a vent in my present factory windshield. I've got nothing to loose by trying---if I scrap it out, I'll just have to buy a new one with a vent. There are several posts from members that say the...

    Show chrome trailer hitch

To Fatcycledaddy. Fatcycledaddy, Could you be more specific on where you put the 3m double sided tape? Did you stick it on the "vertical" surface of the swing arm, or on the top surface? What I'm calling the vertical surface would be the "side" of the swing arm.---Or both? Also, tell me a...

    Show chrome trailer hitch

Thank You Fatcycledaddy ! Thank you Fatcycledaddy ! Now that sounds like a simple fix I can try ! For some reason it never occurred to me to add a jam nut but sure makes sense to me. I'll round up the tape and nuts. I think I've already got the bolts but just in case, I'll get two more and...

    Show chrome trailer hitch

Thanks to everyone ! Thanks to everyone who answered this post---it is all helpful. And to "spiderfish"----Yes I agree with everything you said. I don't think it is a safety issue because you would have to break the bolt thru the axle for the hitch to come completely off the bike. But I would...

    Show chrome trailer hitch

Hello to all, I know I have seen this subject on this forum before , but I don't seem to be finding anything at this moment, so forgive me if this is old information. I just installed a Show Chrome hitch and wiring system on my 2014 RT-S. Had to convert over to 4 wires with a converter harness...

    Trailer wiring harness question

Rewire trailer? Thanks to idahomtnspyder ! That helps a lot! One more question. Can I just rewire the trailer to a 5 wire system and eliminate the converter all together? I figure that would be one less thing to break or malfunction on a long trip. Thanks again Dan

    Trailer wiring harness question

Hello to all & thanks again for your help in the past, I have a trailer question. I just ordered the Show Chrome trailer hitch and wiring harness. According to what I have read, this harness terminates with 5 bare wires. I guess they expect you to wire on whatever plug you want. I have read...
