• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    What does the nanny do? It depends on how much intervention it "thinks" it needs. It has done everything from cut spark to apply brakes as necessary.

    I was asking out of curiosity, more than anything. My wife has had the nanny activate on her a couple of times, but I can get it to raise its ugly head pretty much at will. I don't ride it often, as I am still on two wheels.....but I was rather surprised how easy it will activate...of course...

    Speaking of riding the twisties.... Can the level of "nanny" be adjusted on a 2016 RT? I was coming into the corners posted 30 at about 50.....about the time I would hit the apex and start rolling back into the throttle, the nanny would kick in. Yes, I know how fast these particular corners...

    Just adding some LED driving lights to the A-arms. I plan on powering them directly from the battery, thru a relay which will turn them on/off with the headlights. I understand that doing it this way will result in the driving lights always being on, but the ones I am buying are not anything...

    So which of those two wires is the hot lead? Putting LED lights on my wife's 2012 RT this weekend, and plan on hooking the relay switching wire into the lowbeam power lead.

    I'd try to run it thru inspection the way it is. If it fails, play stupid and say "I didn't know".......go home, disconnect the offending light, and go back the next day. Once it passes, reconnect lights as you see fit.

    I have seen it marketed both ways (with or w/o links), which is why I asked. Gonna order one with the links....beats the heck out of trying to save a few bux, and then having a factory link break while out on the road somewhere.

    Does anybody know what size those rear speakers are? All I can find on the Can Am site is the whole rear speaker package....pods and all.... I have the pods....I just need the speakers, as far as I know.

    After doing some looking into the paperwork, what I have is a 2012 A/C Model. Is it just me.......or does it seem to be odd that the model they call "Audio and Convenience" would come from the fact with no rear speakers? :shocked:
