• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What’s your average MPG using what Octane Fuel?

I have a 2013 RTS SE5 running 87 from the cheapest per gallon price. In town only so far and not fast accelerating (no fun) I get 31-33mpg. Currently have only 14K miles in it.

Utter frustration - are dealers taking advantage of shortages?!?

Take a look at a 2014 RT Limited on the Spokane Craig’s List. It is a nice ride for 16K with 26K miles.

Need Helmet Help. Considering HJC & GMax - any issues with either?

I am using an LS2. It has all you mentioned. Very sound chin guard that rotates all the way to the back of the helmet. Internal shades are a plus and easy to put down or up. Currently using a Sena intercom/headset.

    1330cc RPM shift points

VegasDan I shift per road conditions and down shift rather than braking. In reading much I think the rotax engine should be reved and shift around 5500 rpm. My fuel mileage dropped using that method. I shift at lower rpm and don’t roll off for a shift either up or down. My Spyder likes a steady...

    New rider, confession and question

I road about 2-300 miles before getting my endorsement. Had some uneasy turns until easing up on the grips and shifting on the seat as well as a lean with turns. The two day WA state endorsement class was money well spent. It was through a Harley Davidson dealership here in Spokane. We covered...

How do you Glasses wearers manage with Helmet & Glasses?

Beerandchips I use a modular helmet with fair success. It takes a bit of messing with pulling the sides out first to get partially on then done. Contacts and me are no go.

Will Using 87 Octane impact performance?

All Doing a 600 mile, many overnights, trip with our new (to us) 2013 Spyder ST/S the first of April. Wondering if using 87 Octane gas vs. 91 will change the performance during this trip. I think it was recommended either in owner manual or I picked up on the web to use 91. It will help on the...
