• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Any idea why my Rear Shock Bolt bends in the middle?

If it bottoms and the shock feels healthy, then yes....add some more damping with the clicker. You can go full tight and back off as needed to liking for one method or add 3-5 at a time till it feels right. I like to move at least 3 clicks at a time so you can feel the change....if it was too...

Any idea why my Rear Shock Bolt bends in the middle?

That's a trick question..........Why do you think you need more damping? Are you bottoming? If so, is your shock healthy? See the stoke test in my post above.

Any idea why my Rear Shock Bolt bends in the middle?

At first look, my eye is drawn the load being placed in the center of the bolt/shock eye with that 2pc spacer setup, but it's not like the net is littered broken shock bolt reports? You might consider boring the spacers to the ID of the shock eye, drilling out your mounting bracket on the bike...

Any idea why my Rear Shock Bolt bends in the middle?

I know everyone is trying to be helpful, but SOOOOO much misinformation here! I'm all about tech and learning, so lets put these misnomers to rest so that it won't keep getting regurgitated in our echo Spyder chamber? The length of the spring has zero effect on the ride or rate. Its already...

What kind of Canyon Rear Tire Life are you seeing? What Replacement Options are there?

That's not a very agressive tire considering the Canyon's intended use and a machine that's already going to be challenged for traction off pavement? The thought has crossed my mind to have a spare rear wheel so we can have both types of tires ready to swap out.

What kind of Canyon Rear Tire Life are you seeing? What Replacement Options are there?

You might see 10k out of a rear then? On our RT, the OE rear tire was gone at about 5k miles and we got 12k out of the rear Kumho. Just replaced to fronts right at 20k.

What kind of Canyon Rear Tire Life are you seeing? What Replacement Options are there?

With a Canyon in our future and knowing how my wife's RT/L uses rear tires, I can't help but be concerned with the tire life of the "All Terrain" tires, lack of replacement options, and costs involved with tires overall. I remembered some time back when a frugal friend was buying...

Garmin Zumo XT2's are on sale - Nov '25

Too bad Garmin didn't really get it right before they released it... Problems with mine all the time and haven't been able to narrow it down to phone or intercom related or not? Flawless one day, screen unresponsive and/or rebooting all day the next? Otherwise it's OK. I have never really...

ADV Cannonball Coast to Coast Rally Includes Canyon Riding Participant

I didn't think the stages were really long? We did a 7000 mile loop over 18 travel days and found it pretty easy with some prep, proper clothing, and equipment. Wife seems interested in next years event!

ADV Cannonball Coast to Coast Rally Includes Canyon Riding Participant

Came upon a thread on ADV Rider about a recent Coast to Coast Cannonball Rally this week that got my interest. https://www.advcannonball.com/ This participant documented his whole ride and dropped his video today. Watching it, I spied a Canyon Redrock in the group! Enjoy:

    New Russell Daylong saddle installed

I've notice the comfort on mine changes when I'm not wearing padded shorts. Also after I lowered the footpegs, more break in had to happen for maximum comfort. My max so far has been 650 miles in a day, but 200-400 is the norm.

What could cause this Squeal on starting out in first gear?

Seems our chirping started after installing the NOCO due to slow cranking. The noise comes and goes as I changed the oil - Amsoil MCF 10W40. Noise was pretty common until last week, and then I changed the oil - now it comes and goes again. Maybe we should get this looked at by the $tealer while...
