• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Not having any luck finding a Trailer Hitch for my F3 S SM6

In the F3 family, the F3S and F3 were not designed for towing. Only the F3 Limited and F3T were. You might want to contact a spyder specific after-marketer to see if they have made one.

Does anyone leave the parking brake off during winter storage? And some rodent protection discussion...

Whenever it's parked in your garage, it should be on a battery tender. It'll always start if it is.

Does anyone leave the parking brake off during winter storage? And some rodent protection discussion...

I always leave mine off when it's parked in my garage. That, and it's always on a battery tender/maintainer.

PPA wheel owners - are you satisfied with them? Their finish and quality?

Sean from PPA Wheels is in Canada. He might be your neighbor.

What is the difference between an F3L and an F3T ?????

In 2016 I bought an F3 Limited, had it 3 1/2 years and put 52,000 (maybe 54K, I forget) miles on it. That was my favorite Spyder. The 2016 F3 Limited did not come with a top box. That wasn't introduced till 2017. What color is it? The biggest and most noticeable difference is the chrome...

My good friend, Cruzr Joe, died today - Nov 21, 2024

Edit added to first post: EDIT: Joe, true to his giving nature, was an organ donor. After his organs were harvested, he was cremated. His wife, Sheila, will be having a Celebration of Life in February around the time of his birthday.

My good friend, Cruzr Joe, died today - Nov 21, 2024

I have some very sad news to share. Our very own Cruzr Joe (Joe Plouch) passed away this afternoon from a heart attack. I will share more details when I can. EDIT: Joe, true to his giving nature, was an organ donor. After his organs were harvested, he was cremated. His wife, Sheila, will be...

After hearing so much hoopla, I finally tried Buc-ee's! Never Again!

When I get gas and the pump doesn't print my receipt, I leave my vehicle there and go inside to get it. I also take care of whatever business I need to at the same time. If it does print, I move to a parking space before going inside.

What power outlet & fuse do you use for heated clothing?

I have a direct line (with an inline fuse) to my battery for my heated gear. I also use it for my battery tender.

2016 F3T Limited for sale in a while - what is a fair price? Any ideas?

You may want to check and see if it's an F3 Limited or an F3T. There's no such thing as an F3T Limited. The Limited has quite a bit of chrome. The T has foot pegs vs floorboards on the Limited.

    Your Spyder Vendors/Sponsors

Some of the vendors that were still on had closed their doors quite a while ago. I always wondered why they were still advertising.

What have you done for Heated Gear Wiring, inc Location - '20+ RT's?

On my 2020 RT Limited, I mounted a power plug and ran it straight to the battery. Not only does it power my heated gear, but I also plug my battery tender in to it.

Anyone interested in renting out their RT near Cincinnati?

Good luck with that. Renting out ones Spyder is not very popular here on Spyderlovers. I know for me; I would never even consider it. I'm sure others will chime in and let you know their thoughts. With a crashed 2012, you'd be far better off taking the insurance money and buying a newer model.
