• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    F3 Limited vs RT

ARtraveler and blacklightning thank you for responses. Right now the RT suits me a little better storage wise because my son often rides with me and I have to pack his and my clothing and other necessities. He is 15 now so I am sure I am going to lose my passenger before too long, and won't need...

    F3 Limited vs RT

I currently own a 2013 RT S and have had an absolute blast on it. I have ridden from MO to the mountains of Wyoming and the twisty roads of Arkansas. My question is more towards the new RT vs the F3 limited regarding handling. Do the F3s handle the twisties better than the new RT machines? I do...

Spyder RT 2013 Owners - did the Recalls fix the issues?

I have a 2013 RT-S with around 9000 miles. Put 3300 of those miles on this last summer traveling through Colorado, Wyoming and South Dakota. I have not experienced any reliability issues with my bike. The 998 engine is known to use oil (my biggest complaint) so you may want to keep some on hand...

They won't send me my license plate

I also bought my bike from Wisconsin. Wisconsin is a title retaining state and they would not send it to me for registration purposes. The bank that financed me said they will send an e-title to my DMV. I explained to them that Missouri does not honor the electronic title and that I need the...

    Gas Mileage Chart for 2012 Can-Am Spyder RT-S SM5

I took a 3000 mile trip this summer on my 2013 RT-S and tracked my mileage. I always filled up with premium unleaded. My mileage was typically in the mid to high 20's with a low of 21 and a high of 34 mpg.

Post the last thing you bought

The last thing I bought for my ride was the Ultimate tall boy seat. The next will be a rear tire.

    NFL chat

Looks like my team, Chiefs, will be playing your Bears in December. I have read a few articles that haven't spoken well of Trubisky. I'm hoping he ignores the comments and continues to improve his play. I think they have a lot of potential especially since they have resolved the kicker issue.

    Glove and Boot Recommendations

I use the Alpinestar gloves that are touchscreen compatible so I can change songs and interact with the GPS on my phone if needed. They are leather and mesh construction but do get a bit warm in hot temps.

    Magic mirrors or not... Really?

Do you need magic mirrors? No. Are they worth it? Absolutely. I did accidently break one of my clips and rode with a shaky mirror for a while until I bought the magic mirrors. I also use a half cover when traveling and it has never pulled the mirror off; not even in a thunderstorm. I have hit...

RPS Manufacturing / M2 Shocks Review

I also have the M2's front and rear. After taking a 3000+ mile trip with a passenger and all our gear and clothing I realized a need for a little heavier spring up front. I contacted Marcus to let him know my experiences on the trip and he had new springs sitting on my front porch within the...

    BRP saddlebag liners vs Hopnel's

I am also using the Bestem brand. They are a great fit and make use of all available space.

Where did you get your "Handle"?

Mine is relatively simple. I use a similar name in another forum. I like to keep the usernames the same or at least close so i don't have to remember several different names. The CJ is just my initials, ram because I drive Ram trucks and I'm a man.
