• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    an f-3 question...

looking at the schematic sounds like a good way to go.. the f-3 is so new, i guess know one has done it yet.... i was hoping for pics from someone that may have done it.. the schematics would be a big part of the research, but pictures of the modification of the switch itself would really be...

    an f-3 question...

there were earlier threads, showing how to enable the cruise control on the basic model spyder.. has anyone attempted to this mod on the basic f-3? .. i don't have an f-3 yet. but plan to get one... i enjoy cruise control, but would not want to pay the additional $2500. or so, to get that...

    Fuel tank specs

i believe riders should know how many miles they can go before the light comes on, and then, the miles driven, when the bike finally runs out of gas.. as suggested before, carry an extra gallon of fuel.. use both trip meters one for the light, and one for when the bike runs out of fuel.. WRITE...

How do I remove the hand grips?

i have used the same technique as the wd-40, except i use a spray electrical contact cleaner inside.. just use the nozzle extention, and follow the gap next to the screwdriver.. be careful not to run the screwdriver thru the side of your grips.. and the most important thing... protect all...

    Straight exhaust

james, i agree with you... i'm not a spyder owner (yet) .. i'll be looking at the f-3, when they arrive out here in ventura.. i ride an old 1984 naked goldwing with abbreviated sports bike mufflers... it's pretty loud.. when i start it up to go for a ride, i keep the warm up to a minimum.. then...

RT Hitch removal and belt adjustment

so... let me try to get this straight.. lamont says 150 to 200 lbs. using a krikit.. that sounds right.. then service bulletin #2010-6 says 450 plus or minus 150 newtons, which means 67.4 lbs to 134.9 lbs... that just sounds awfully low... but the threat of doing harm, with too much tension, has...

    F3 Honda Copy

the spyder seems the way to go.... but give them time to develop their concept... remember the transition honda made from the early gl 1000's ... after seeing all of the after-market windjammer successes, honda jumped in with their fully dressed versions.. starting with the 1100 goldwings, and...

bob.... when you mention spyder riders of america, something comes to mind... my friend dave, and myself met a spyder rider at cal-coast.. he had a dark blue, if i'm not mistaken, 2012 rt... he was telling us of his bad luck with the bike he purchased.. it was a hell of a time to hear that kind...
