• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How loud that thing can be??? So loud that I almost ...... to my pans

I’ve had one sitting in my garage for about a year as well. I’m thinking about mounting right behind the grill in the massive dead space around the truck tub. Paint it black and I doubt you’ll be able to see it. Plus it keeps the sound out front in the center of the bike.

Anyone tried these Spyderpops brake lights?

I’ve got the kit for the F3, and it’s great. LED strips are good quality, easy to install, and they are really bright. The only downside I would say is that they strobe a little too much. 3 fast blinks then 2 slow blinks then solid. If you brake check at all instead of holding the brake down the...

New spyder owner, old motorcyclist: is there a kit to add a handlebar brake lever

I’ve never owned a Goldwing. Sounds like an ABS system. My point was more to the comment of who applies the front brake first on a motorcycle, and that you should be applying the front brake as it has almost all of the stopping power. That’s why most people grab for an invisible lever when...

New spyder owner, old motorcyclist: is there a kit to add a handlebar brake lever

I installed the ISCI handbrake system https://isciride.com/product/handbrake-f3/ on my F3 for 2 reasons. I have a spinal cord injury and basically can’t use my right leg for braking, and I’m used to handbrakes from 2 wheels. It is pricey, but a necessity for me to ride now. There was also a...

    uncomfortable in corners

Turning left, push the right handlebar away with a relaxed grip while leaning left with head just above left mirror looking through the turn keeping back straight and head vertical, inside of left knee bracing against the tank and with weight on your right foot. Do the opposite for turning...

PPA wheel owners - are you satisfied with them? Their finish and quality?

I went with the 15’s. I kind of wish I went with the 16’s, but tires were hard to find. Here is the difference between 5 and 5 1/2 inch width.

Opinion on Fox Podium 1.5 front shocks

So just to be clear, the consensus is that the stock Fox podium shocks are comparable/just as good to the problematic Elka’s? The Fox Podium 1.5 shock’s are stock right?

    My new/older Spyder build

The fenders are called low brow fenders from BRP. I got them new off ebay for about $200 less than usual.

    My new/older Spyder build

New windshield from Secdem. It’s a company in France. I wanted to keep the sport look and lines of the F3s. This achieves that, and is still practical at keeping wind off the body. The wind line is right at my neck level at 65mph. This model usually comes in a 60cm size, but I had them cut it...

    Headlight/aux light upgrade, differently.

What projectors are you using? The aux’s seem to fit perfectly in the stock mounting holes. I’ve been thinking of retrofitting the Spyder as well, but haven’t gotten into researching projectors that will fit into the headlight housing, or the aux light holes. You might actually find that the Aux...

    Headlight/aux light upgrade, differently.

As far as aimimg. You want the cutoff line of the low beam no higher than the mirror height of oncoming traffic. Other than that you’ll find the sweet spot between visibility close and far away. Too high, and there will be a dark area right in front of you, and too low...well you won’t be able...
