• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Limp Mode and DPS Fault

Wow1 too much electronics This is very interesting stuff, however, it seems that the electronics are limiting our ability to ride. I guess we will have to get the curves and hills in the Ozarks straightened out before we can ride there. Maybe Can-Am can make us a guide to roads that will...

DPS Faults too! Haven't been on this site for 2 years, but have upgraded to the 2011 RT with trailer hitch. Went first 600 miles without a fault or limp mode, then added trailer hitch and bam... DPS faults galore. You are right about the oil psi, and dealer can't seem to find the problem...

    TEMP BARS

ON my trip to Yellowstone, pulling my trailer, etc.... I cruised with 3 bars most time, found 4 bars when temperature climed into the high 80's and middle of day, or humidity rose over 60%. I was surprised, but my Spyder runs 3-4 bars at cruise, never at 5-6. I don't even think I have...

I forgot to tell my story about relays. Before my big trip ( Parts 1,2,3 already posted) I was taking my niece out for a ride July 4th. We only rode about 10 miles, and when I returned to my house, I just throttled a little to get into the garage and the SE5 shuts down as if I hit the kill...

    Cptnrydr - Road Trip 2009 - part 1

:2thumbs: Back from my first Road Trip. My wife and I bought our 2008 Can Am Spyder with the intention of touring with our in-laws. When BRP created the Spyder, I don’t think they saw it as a touring vehicle. But many of us have proved them wrong and BRP probably is seriously thinking of a lot...
