• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    My feeling is that BRP should do the first oil change and 600 mile service for free. 600 miles is nothing, I had nearly two hundred just doing the round trip to and from the dealer. Most new cars and trucks that I've bought that was the case; as well as one new boat.

    That was the cost on the 600 mile as well as 3000 mile. House of Cycle in West Monroe, service Dept Manager is Nancy. Their cost on service is the lowest I've found in the ArkLaMiss. Jackson prices are about the same as Hattiesburg.

    I had the same debut and have no regret in choosing the automatic for the RT-S. For a touring bike my preference is for SE transmission. If you were going the sport bike route then I would lean to the manual transmission.

    I too had consider the shed. However, the uptight folks who wrote the restriction and covenants in my neighborhood don't allow sheds unless it matches the house. Additionally, a shed has to be approved by the architect committee. :gaah:

    If you have the room, and can afford it a drop ramp cargo motorcycle trailer is another possible option. It would be like having a mobile garage, and your Spyder is locked up. I have 6' x 12', it's tight but it works.

    I bought my RTS PE#730 SE5 there. My sales person was Justin. I found them to be an easy bunch to work with. They are lower on the service cost vs other dealers that I had looked at (600 mile service is about $150).
