• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    transmission slipping

    :( I've had the same problem with the clutch slipping. Mine is a 2010 with 4,000 miles on it and out of warranty. Fortunately, CanAm is covering the parts because of the low mileage and I'll be paying the labor of about $300. It's been at the dealer for almost 5 weeks with parts backorder...

    Clutch on 2010 RS SE-5

    Didn't cruise alot below 4000 RPM's. Felt like it was slipping in all gears. I could be cruising along at 70 MPH which is right around 5000 rpm's and if I started up a hill, the rpm's would jump to 6500 and the bike wasn't going anywhere.

    Felt like my clutch was slipping so took it into the dealer. My Spyder only has 4,000 miles on it and needs a clutch per the dealer. Fortunately, CanAm is covering the parts because of the low miles. What or how can a clutch need replacing at 4,000 miles? :yes:

    Add Oil

    Last oil change was done at dealer using the BRP oil on my 2010 Roadster SE-5. Does it hurt in anyway when it comes time to add oil to use a different brand such as Amsoil MCF?
